    I think Carolina learned a lot about themselves last night. The Heels can compete inside but it’s contingent on Lubin playing more. If I’m Hubert I’m starting Cadeau, Davis, Trimble, Lubin, and Withers with Jackson as the sixth man and Powell, Brown, and Washington getting good minutes of the bench. It’s clear that Tyson and Claude aren’t ready for this type of play yet.

    Team is dangerous right now, all four lines are contributing and the speed at which the guys play at is tremendous.

    Only Kaprizov is playing better hockey than Necas right now. And Kochetkov is fine. He’s better in a rotation and with more volume but the Canes suppress shots better than any team so all it takes is a couple high danger chances a game to tank his save percentage.

    We need to tighten up in our defensive zone. Kraken players are finding themselves wide open, some good stops by Zilla.

    KK’s vision has gotten so much better. If he can keep feeding good passes then we might have something there.

    We aren’t good enough to be competitive without Miller, Green, and Mark. With all three we are a possible playoff team but it’s hard to overcome three potential starters being out.

    Hopefully we get Salaun and Green back tonight. Without them as well as Miller and Mark, we’d probably end up starting Ball, Martin, Bridges, Grant, and Richards with Mann, Micic, Curry, and Diabate off the bench. Hell, we might even see Gibson or Smith Jr. in that scenario so that we have a full rotation. Injuries are already in mid season form.
