Assuming Coghlan gets waived, would you rather have: Slavin - Burns Orlov - Pesce Chatfield - TDA Jones OR Slavin - Burns Orlov - Chatfield Skjei - TDA Jones This is a hypothetical assuming one of Skjei or Pesce gets traded for a top six forward. Personally, I’d probably trade Skjei because his value is at an all-time high. I’m not sure if he can replicate last season again.

If I was Karol I’d leave Charlotte at the first opportunity I got. He isn’t used correctly by Lattanzio and that can honestly be said about a lot of our players. Swiderski is at his best when he’s playing as a second striker rather than a center forward. He looks like a different player when playing as a second striker for Poland. There has to be some sort of disconnect between our FO and Lattanzio cause the FO consistently brings in players that can’t play in our system. And this isn’t an excuse for Lattanzio, his system sucks as well.

Hopefully it’ll be Svechnikov once he’s back and a lot rides on Jarvis making a big jump. If Svech becomes the elite goal scorer, Jarvis makes a big jump, Teravainen has a rebound season, and Bunting gets us 20 or so goals, then we’ll be in fine shape. Obviously a lot of if’s there.

Well with the EK thing over we can finally start to get our roster together for opening night. Not much else I’d do but I wouldn’t hate throwing Parise an offer. He played pretty well for a NYI team that plays similar to us so I think he’d fit in well. Tatar is another option as a depth forward but I’m not sure if his game fits the Canes.
