    NJ is gonna wear themselves out. Just my thought but if you come out as hard as they do then you better get a multi goal lead because you are exerting a ton of energy. It’s a marathon not a sprint. I’ll go 4-3 Canes.

    Yep haha. If he would have been back just a foot then NJ is in on goal. Need to continue to make sure our guys are gapping up. New Jersey is too fast to give them room, they skate right by you if you let them.

    Think this is the key here, need to make an adjustment in gapping up better. NJ is cruising through the neutral zone without any resistance. Would like to see someone lay a hit to send a message that you aren’t just going to skate through the neutral zone unabated.

    No need to go at each other, we’re all Canes fans. If this game gets out of hand like the other one then by all means find a ledge but it’s only 1-0 and it was a fluke goal.

    Take away the first period of last game and it was a 5-4 game for New Jersey but they got a poo ton of PP time which included a 5 on 3. If we get out of this period 1-0 or better and stay out of the box for the rest of the game then we’ll be fine.

    Also, shoutout to Jarvis. He’s turned the page from his sophomore slump and is playing at nearly a point per game pace in the playoffs, 8 points in 9 games.

    Honestly not worried at all. I was worried after game three against New York as it was one of the worst games I’ve seen us play this year. As for this game, we’re a few inches away from scoring 7 goals and there’s no chance in hell we are giving up 8 again. We’re fine.
