How did we win three games…

I think the Islanders are playing better hockey right now and we have looked average to dog poo over the past few games. We have a team that will need to win this game 2–1, we don’t have a goalie that will allow us to do that though.

I don’t believe I like MacEachern with Aho. I thought they looked good together in their brief stint in game 4 but I think I’d rather see Puljujarvi up there.

I hope Rod knows what he’s doing. Raanta was playing just fine. Now you go to a cold goalie and if he loses this game then you have to go back to Raanta who will have become a cold goalie in a game 7.

Looks like we acquired Meram but the Shinyashiki portion of the deal fell through.

Shinyashiki was more concerned with finding kitty on Tinder than scoring goals.

It won’t happen because I think Rod likes Jarvis on Aho’s wing but I’d consider bumping Necas up to try and get him going. He’s pressing right now and with Aho he can be more of a passenger. I’d go something like this for game 6: Puljujarvi - Aho - Necas Noesen - Kotkaniemi - Jarvis Martinook - Staal - Fast MacEachern/Drury - Stastny - Stepan

I think it was a combination of both. I didn’t hate our game, I thought at times we were sleep walking but at the end of the day we hit three posts I believe, had one goal taken away, and gave up one off of our own guys teeth. At the same time, NY finally decided to play hockey rather than pretend like they were in a UFC fight.

Ain’t gonna lie, if Necas was in the press box we’d have won that game. He’s been bad all series. Sometimes you have to stop doing too much and just let the game come to you.

According to reports, Charlotte FC has traded Andre Shinyashiki to RSL for winger, Justin Meram. Meram is a 34 year old winger who will provide depth for Charlotte, he represents Iraq at the international level and recorded 8 goals and 19 assists for RSL in 96 games.
