    Devils have scratched Zetterlund tonight, he’s a player that could be included in a trade for Meier. Corey Masisak who covers Sharks for The Athletic believes that the Devils are in the drivers seat… Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

    Same… this Meier situation is getting pretty crazy, I originally thought the price would come down but I guess all San Jose needs is for Carolina and NJ to equally want him as bad.

    LeBrun stating that the Meier sweepstakes is coming to an end as teams are being informed that they are out of the running (i.e. Winnipeg being told Meier won’t re-sign there). Ultimately I think it’ll come down to Carolina or New Jersey and I wouldn’t be shocked if this is over by Tuesday.

    He’s been snake bit this year in regards to his offensive game. He’s getting good opportunities, the puck just isn’t going in. Reminds me of what Necas went through last year.
