  1. Teravainen has been placed on IR, expecting another call up at some point.
  2. Chizik brining pressure? Apocalypse is here…
  3. Really happy to have a healthy Nesbit back.
  4. Unless I’m looking at this wrong. They played Thursday, tonight (Saturday), and Monday.
  5. Kind of odd that we are getting Francouz tonight, Colorado hasn’t played since Thursday and don’t play again until Monday. I won’t complain though, Francouz has a .898 save % and a 3.08 GAA. Georgiev on the other hand is playing like a top 10 goalie this year, so it’s nice to avoid him.
  6. The Canes are in Denver taking on the defending Stanley Cup Champions tonight. Colorado is riding a three game winning streak but that’s largely due to playing two poor teams (Columbus X2 and Nashville). As for the Canes, Teravainen is now on the shelf and Noesen is expected to be the beneficiary. Projected Lines: Svechnikov - Aho - Noesen Jarvis - Kotkaniemi - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Stasnty - Drury - Stepan Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce de Haan - Chatfield Raanta Kochetkov Scratches - Coghlan Injuries - Teravainen Injured Reserve - Kase, Andersen LTIR - Pacioretty, Gardiner
  7. I’d like to see Noesen get a chance with the second line. Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Noesen - Kotkaniemi - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Stastny - Drury - Stepan I’d also like to see Rees called up, he provides some grit and he’s off to a hot start this year. He has 2 goals, 5 assists, and 7 points in 9 games for the Wolves this year.
  8. Charleston always lights us up, we’ve fought back to take the lead but without fail, Charleston always plays us tough. They’ve won a couple of the matchups.
  9. If I was Carolina, I’d stop scheduling Charleston. Something about Carolina blue turns Charleston into the Golden State Warriors.
  10. Teravainen is out with an upper body injury and did not travel with the team as they headed out west.
  11. Was really impressed with Kochetkov. Made a few saves that I’m not sure our other goalies would have made.
  12. Hahah I’ll do what I can. Sometimes I don’t get home until late. Only reason I did today was because work was cancelled from Hurricane Nicole and I didn’t see one posted.
  13. Much needed win and more in line with what we are used to. FINAL: CANES 7 - Oilers 2 Goal 1 - Svechnikov (9) from Teravainen (6) and Aho (9) Goal 2 - Burns (3) from Necas (11) and Teravainen (7) - Power Play Goal 3 - Svechnikov (10) from Necas (12) Goal 4 - Staal (2) from Martinook (3) Goal 5 - Martinook (3) from Skjei (5) and Fast (2) Goal 6 - Svechnikov (11) from Aho (10) and de Haan (1) Goal 7 - Fast (2) - Unassisted Kochetkov - .909 sv%
  14. Great period from our guys! After 2: CANES 4 - Oilers 1 Goal 1 - Svechnikov (9) from Teravainen (6) and Aho (9) Goal 2 - Burns (3) from Necas (11) and Teravainen (7) - Power Play Goal 3 - Svechnikov (10) from Necas (12) Goal 4 - Staal (2) from Martinook (3)
  15. Sheesh… it’s time to move Andersen, this is Koochie’s team.
  16. If Teravainen is hurt, I hope they give Rees a look. He’s been very good in Chicago this year.
  17. Burns needed to go back, not forward, to try and keep that one out.
  18. PP is looking better, nice shot by Burns, if our guys stop fanning on shots then we’ll be in good shape.
  19. Let’s keep it going! After 1: CANES 1 - Oilers 0 Goal 1 - Svechnikov (9) from Teravainen (6) and Aho (9)
  20. So it might just be me… that was not even a penalty much less an actual penalty shot.
