    Really liking our WR depth…. Higgins, Smith, Zylstra… then add Ricci has a utility FB/TE and there’s a lot to work with if someone goes down.

    I’m glad the Commies first string offense can beat our second string defense… this dude in the booth keeps nutting over routine plays against our backups and rookies.

    Good first quarter. Mayfield and Darnold looked solid. Might have something in Shi Smith. Brandon Smith and Amare Barno also making plays early. Need to see a lot more from both the OL and DL. OL isn’t holding up and the DL isn’t getting pressure.

    Ickey got beat there but that was a nice play fake and a good touch pass by Darnold to Higgins who ran right by his man. Always great to capitalize on a short field.

    Zylstra seems to catch everything.

    Someone came in and punched that ball late, wasn’t Chinn (who made the initial tackle), good awareness by Barno to scoop that ball up.

    It’s early, but guys are making open field tackles… not used to that.

    Not a bad opening drive. It was a breath of fresh air to see the Panthers move the ball down the field and even take a deep shot. Really like that Shi Smith’s camp is translating into game success. Ricci looking solid as well. Would like to see more from the OL.
