  1. Max is an NHL player in my opinion, he’s just stuck behind a lot of depth, Keane as well. One if not both will eventually move on and carve out a career for themselves… similar to Forsling.
  2. Time to bring in some transfers, Columbus just knocked us out of playoff position.
  3. Watched the Orlando/Atlanta game this afternoon and it played out almost identical to ours. Orlando went up 1-0 early in the game and at the 60’ minute mark Orlando switched to a back five with three CB’s and 2 WB’s. Atlanta promptly tied the game at 1 and should have won the game but Martinez missed a sitter and clanked a post as well. I think the theme here is that coaches need to stop going to a five back when killing off the game. It takes way too many players out of the middle of the pitch which is where the prime real estate is when a team is pressing. The 4-2-3-1 with the outside mid’s tracking back is the perfect formation for killing off a game.
  4. I just don’t understand why we went defensive with three CB’s and two WB’s. The team went to poo once we switched to a 5-4-1.
  5. Lattanzio absolutely blew it… Playing Jozwiak as a wing back was mind boggling. I get Corujo went off injured… fine. Shift Fuchs to CB and bring on both Mora and Lindsay. Additionally, our hold up play was atrocious… Jones should have been brought on. The lineup should have been… GK - Kahlina RB - Lindsay RCB - Walkes LCB - Fuchs LB - Mora CDM - Bronico RCM - Jones LCM - Bender RW - Reyna ST - Swiderski LW - Shinyashiki
  6. Going to a back three with wingbacks has time be one of the dumbest moves I’ve ever seen. No idea what Lattanzio is doing and no idea why more moves haven’t been made. Lindsay, Jones, Vargas, Gaines, and Shinyashiki could all be helpful.
  7. Lattanzio outsmarted himself by not bringing Lindsay on for Afful. The back line is a mess right now.
  8. I actually have no idea what kind of formation we are playing right now.
  9. Charlotte needs to get it together… they’ve stopped playing.
  10. Have to give it to Taylor from Miami… that was a spectacular goal.
  11. With Afful picking up a yellow, it’s time to bring in Lindsay.
  12. We can only be left to wonder why Reyna didn’t get any run under MAR.
  13. A couple of changes I’d like to see… Afful is getting cooked on his side, I’d like to see Lindsay come in for him. Ruiz has been invisible tonight, I’d be interested to see what a Bender/McNeill pairing could do. Jozwiak started pretty strong but has since faded, it would be nice to see Shinyashiki come in for him.
  14. HT Charlotte FC 2 - Inter Miami 0 1’ - Reyna from Swiderski 42’ - Reyna from McNeill
  15. Holy poo… Reyna again after a lovely ball (and move) by McNeill.
  16. Wow… hell of a save by Kahlina. That’s got to be in contention for save if the year.
  17. Damn I was getting a snack and a drink… missed the goal lol.
  18. I guess you could say that Cole and Svech went Labar down.
  19. Three points would be huge tonight as we would momentarily jump to fifth in the table.
  20. Got Inter Miami tonight but we are in a weather delay, it could be a long night ahead. Same starting XI GK - Kahlina RB - Afful RCB - Corujo LCB - Walkes LB - Fuchs CDM - Bronico RCM - McNeill LCM - Ruiz RW - Jozwiak ST - Swiderski LW - Reyna Subs - Marks, Lindsey, Makoun, Mora, Jones, Bender, Vargas, Gaines, Shinyashiki Not Included - Sisniega, Sobocinski, Alcivar, Ortiz, Rios Injured - Armour, Mello On Loan - Zendejas(Charlotte Independence), Santos (Charlotte Independence), Hegardt (Charlotte Independence), Franco (Talleres)
  21. So, going through the new additions as well as the subtractions, the Wolves are going to look mighty different next year. The only players that I’m penciling in to make the jump to the Canes next year are Drury and Chatfield. There are certainly some other players listed that could very well be on the Canes but below is the main list that Chicago will be pulling from. Forwards - Stefan Noesen, Malte Stromwall, Mackenzie MacEachern, Lane Pederson, Jamieson Rees, Stelio Mattheos, Ryan Suzuki, Vasili Ponomarev, Noel Gunler, Blake Murray Defensemen - Dylan Coghlan, Joey Keane, Max Lajoie, Cavan Fitzgerald, Ronan Seeley, Griffin Mendel Goalies - Pyotr Kochetkov, Zach Sawchenko There will definitely be more additions but here is where everything stands at the moment for the Wolves. Note - Tarmo Reunanen and Jesper Sellgren were qualified by the Canes but both have decided to go back to Europe next year instead of playing in Chicago. The Canes will maintain their rights.
