My tune would change if we ever got a little ping pong ball luck but that’s unlikely to change. -

Dallas up 1-0 at the end of one against Calgary. Hopefully Hakanpaa and the Stars send Lindholm, Hanifin and the Flames home. Former Cane Andrej Sekera is also a member of the Stars and Anton Khudobin plays for the Stars AHL Team. Former Canes player and current assistant coach, Tim Gleason, has a cousin (Ben Gleason) that also plays for the Stars AHL team. -

Everyone is more than welcome to join me for one of the games in Florida should we get out of the next round. -
I’ll also mention that former Cane, Patrick Dwyer is an assistant coach for the Wolves.

While the Canes advanced in the Stanley Cup Playoffs last night, the Chicago Wolves advanced in the Calder Cup Playoffs tonight. They swept the Rockford IceHogs three games to zero and will now take on the Milwaukee Admirals. The Canes deep system and prospects have allowed the Wolves to be extremely successful this year. Wolves Playoff Stats: Andrew Poturalski - 1 goal, 4 assists Jack Drury - 2 goals, 2 assists Stefan Noesen - 2 goals, 2 assists Joey Keane - 4 assists C.J. Smith - 2 goals, 1 assist Josh Leivo - 1 goal, 2 assists David Gust - 1 goal, 2 assists Stelio Mattheos - 1 goal, 1 assist Richard Panik - 2 assists Vasili Ponomarev - 1 goal Max Lajoie - 1 goal Cavan Fitzgerald - 1 goal Ivan Lodnia - 1 goal Jamieson Rees - 1 assist Spencer Smallman - 1 assist Josh Jacobs - 1 assist Alex Lyon - 3 Wins, .939 sv%, 1.33 GAA Hopefully both the Canes and Wolves can bring hardware home this year.

Pittsburgh ties it on the PP, if NYR doesn’t stay out of the box they will lose this game. -

Five games sounds about right. Shesterkin is good for one game where he steals one and Pittsburgh is good for benefiting from the officiating for one game. Six games would be the absolute max. Neither one of these teams can take us to seven. Neither also has the ability to take Aho out of the series like Boston did. At the end of the day, Bergeron is still a 4x Selke winner and did a good job on Aho. Both the Rangers and Penguins should be concerned that Carolina won the series while not getting their very best from their 1C. -

Well that was a hell of a sequence… Shesterkin makes a couple of solid saves and then the Rangers come the other way on a 2 on 1 which results in a Kreider goal. 1-0 New York
