Sooo who dies tonight in the Florida/Washington game… Gudas, Lomberg, Hornqvist, Weeger, Wilson, Hathaway, Fehervary, Eller? Going to be a blood bath with that many cheap shot artists gooning around.

Personally, I feel like D’Antoni is an older version of JB in the fact that our offense will once again be elite but our defense will be middle of the pack at best. Fairly certain that D’Antoni has never fielded a top 10 defensive team, closest should be the 06-07 Suns who finished 13th in team defense. Out of the four that we are being linked to in ESPN’s article, I’d go Ham, D’Antoni, Sweeney, Atkinson.

It was good I’m just not terribly interested in any of those teams as in I don’t care who wins because neither team bothers me. Like for the Florida/Washington series, I want it to be a blood bath. For the New York/Pittsburgh series I want to get a look at who we are getting next, so on so forth.

I’m not in market so I had to watch the ESPN cast but I did watch the highlights on NHL.com and they used the Canes broadcast and I noticed a few, I also noticed The Big Rig using Forslund’s old “Merccccyyy” after Raanta made a great save.

There’s certainly questions as to if Raanta Clause can do this all series but at least for game one I’ll eat all my crow, and it tasted damn good. Koochie Mama needs to stay ready though, things can turn 180 in a hurry in the playoffs… just ask Edmonton… they still think they’d have won the cup in 06 if their goalie didn’t get hurt.

After this past years game, I really don’t want him but whatever…
