I do find it worrying that both Mingo and Terrace can't get seperation against their 2nd/3rd string guys. They're supposed to make that jump this year and can't even get separation from backups.
-
I know Patriots offense is just as bad as ours (both their starters and backups), but our fundamentals on defense look surprisingly good. Coverage is absolutely lock down, run defense look solid, not a lot of missed tackles, etc.
-
My bad. Hard to detect sarcasm online and when somehwat drunk lol
-
We already had this discussion last preseason. It definitely matters. Look for individual matchups. We were absolutely getting demolished with each position group last preseason, starters and backups, and we displayed it once regular season hit.
-
I was legit just thinking to myself the same thing lol I honestly have no clue. Bout to go google Edit: Oh yeah Brad Idzik, somebody who I'm actually excited to see grow. Apparently Bucs fans were very disappointed to lose him
-
Uh oh, I saw some pre snap motion in there!!!
-
Coverage is SOLID! Ejero is going to be a future coach. Dude knows how to field a defense no matter who's out there
-
That's the big thing. Coverage and tackling looks good, something that was not evident last preseason

What number is Trevin Wallace? #56 right?
-
Refs missed a blatant false start from the LT. That play shouldn't have even counted
-
Those last two games won me a lot of money in my fantasy leagues. Streamed both the Jags and Bucs D and both of my leagues get bonus points for shutouts. Won $800 because of how bad the Panthers were to end the year
-
Nowhere to run or throw. Defense locking em up
-
Refs in midseason form too
-
At least defense looking solid

David Tepper entertainment

LMFAO Our last two 2nd round WRs both dropping easy balls.
-
Recovered nicely after initially being beat from the start. Need to get that head around faster though. A more savvy WR would have gotten that interference call.
-
Nice series from defense

Glad to have football back so we can all be depressed again lol
-
Praying for y'all for real. This always reminds me that football is just not that seriously. I sometimes go a lil overboard with discussions that include personal insults to people, but in the end health is really all that matters to enjoy this life. I'm wishing a speedy recovery for Mr. Scot!!!!

Know Your Foe: New England Patriots
Castavar replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm honestly interested to see how well our backups carry out Canales' scheme. I know it will be vanilla, but there can still be a scheme in place but just call vanilla plays within that scheme. Honestly just hype to watch any kind of Panthers football, no matter how bad -

If it's anything like last preseason, then count me out. I just want to see what Morgan's picks can do. Eager to see Trevin Wallace and JaTavion Sanders the most -

Bryce Young won't play in preseason opener
Castavar replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
So what's the plan here? Coddle him until the regular season? I'd rather him look bad in preseason than week 1. Is it to protect him from injury? I could understand that if the starting o-line or WRs aren't playing, but if they are then there's NO excuse. -
Ian Rapoport on Bryce: "Everyone had Bryce Young #1"
Castavar replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's not that trade I disliked. I also liked the trade even WITH including DJ. We made the right decision, we just made the wrong pick. And yeah, it's crazy how this front office loved Burns so much that it passed on TWO 1st rounders from the Rams and also didn't want to include him in the trade with the Bears...........................only to not want to pay him right after lmao This franchise man, ran by a bunch of idiots, lead by the true dumbass mastermind himself David Tepper
