  1. this is the first preseason in a LONG time were I have not kept up with training camp/preseason. normally, I am hyped for the upcoming season and seeing new rookies, FA pickups, and further development of current players. but we all know, this will the same Tepper shitshow upcoming
  2. just keep Brooks on the PUP to start the first half of the season to make sure he's fully recovered and learn the playbook/pass protection he likely wasn't going to play much at the start of season even if he was fully healthy let Chuba earn his next contract
  3. for what its worth, Shaq has recently taken a massive paycuts in order to stay with the team. even if he's not Luke/TD tier, he still deserve some props for what he's done for the team
  4. why does Brandt tilis look like Jake delhomme's nerdy twin
  5. so no more "kill Kill" WR check down to TMJ for 2 yards from 4th and 15 with game on the line?
  6. typical panthers but even if Brooks was 100% going into the season, don't think he would even receive much snaps to begin with. still has to improve as a pass protector and route runner
  7. at least we have a 2025 1st round pick heading into this season
  8. believed it was Tepper who spilled everything in a press conference regarding the potential 3 way trade with Houston and Chicago. IF Houston stayed or traded up to One, the Panthers were going to take whoever was available between the two. This scenario would have been better since trading up to Two wouldn't have required selling the entire farm and DJ Moore even if we still ended up with Bryce at Two. But anyways, "hindsight is 50/50" - Cam Newton
  9. if lovie smith doesn't have that Hail Mary, CJ would be a panther. Houston wanted Bryce over CJ. The plan was for Houston to trade to number 1 overall and take Bryce while the Panthers trade up to number 2 and take CJ. That went out the window when Houston backed out at the last second.
  10. zane Gonzalez is available. he was pretty solid during his time here. just don't let him go out during pregame warmups
  11. you would think since he is only 5'10 and physically limited in all regards not only as quarterback but an NFL player, he would at least have solid basic fundementals needed to overcome his limitations.
  12. the same Chris Simms that said Matt Corral would be a future hall of famer?
  13. Luvu was a solid starter and brought a lot of needed energy on the defense side of the ball and I wish he still could have stayed, but Luvu was out of position a lot in the run game and was a below average coverage linebacker Burns only cared about getting paid and was constantly taken out by a single TE during games. For the amount of money he eventually got paid, there hasn't been a single instance in his career were he fully took over a game besides the first half of the Falcon game last season. How many game winning drives by the opponent has there been that Burns misses a tackle/sack and/or doesn't make a game saving play?
  14. shy did not look good at NT last season. I noticed the back up players (labryan ray and nick Thurman) playing more snaps at NT than Shy during games
  15. whether Corbert plays at an elite level or a failure at center, the guy is coming back from back to back knee injuries/surgery and is the final year of contract. the backup plan as of now at center is Cade mays and Brady Christensen
  16. this is prob the best pick in our class both value and potential wise Sander could have easily gone in the 2nd round but we were able to pick him up with a 4th. Great size, good hands, and is only 21 year old
  17. they could have stayed at 65 and picked Colson if they wanted a LB but instead gambled for an extra 5th
  18. dan Morgan about to use that 5th round pick from the jets to trade back up in the 3rd
  19. dan Morgan must really love and hate his 5th round picks
