I've heard a couple of people suggest that, and I just can't get on board. It would be a very Panther thing to choose a draft where the offensive line class is expected to be good and deep to be the one where we trade away all our picks.

Is it? In a normal year it might be, but this isn't a normal year. We don't know that yet.

I know we were expecting a lot of one year deals, but so far we've seen Erving signed for two years and Elflein for three.

To be fair, Joe isn't the only one asking that question.

Outside reaction so far is...not positive. That's not always the best measuring stick though.

Klein and Ellis both expect he'll get a chance to compete for the starting left tackle spot.

I was kind of hoping to not hear or use the phrase "good when healthy" for a while. Looking like it might stick around for another year or so.

Patriots are signing a nose tackle from the Dolphins too. So far, the tampering period is mostly us and the Patriots.

Is this our left tackle? My gut says no but...

First round pick of the Browns in 2015. His previously spent time with the Chiefs and most recently the Cowboys. He's played both tackle spots. Makes me wonder if maybe we're finally going to try Moton on the left and use Erving on the right.

Mixed feelings... As others have said, happy that our first signing was an offensive lineman. Iffy because I was kind of hoping we'd move away from people who could be described as "good when healthy".

Based on a regular year pay scale or this year's pay scale? It is an unusual off season.

Had a feeling it wouldn't be long before somebody made that comparison. I'm hoping it doesn't turn out to be a valid one.

He's a pretty good blocker, but he's struggled some with injuries.

He was a cut though, signed prior to the start of the tampering period.
