Thus endeth the discussion. -
Heh (I figured you meant "wieners")

The OP majorly misstated / exaggerated what was actually said in the article. No one called him that. -
That is the funniest thing I've seen in a while

Boy, there's a name I haven't heard in a long, long time. -
Does Carolina Pass up on Offensive Tackle at 25?
Mr. Scot replied to Bj-Monster23's topic in Carolina Panthers
In last year's presser he pointed out that there were five tackles the Panthers considered first round worthy (all of whom were gone before we picked). -
They're asking for a recount in Florida.

If they feel another spot has the best player, it's very possible. (I'm hoping tackle is the BPA, of course) -

Yep. The article doesn't actually say what's in the thread title. -

Pretty sure some of the people arguing for us to draft him are the same ones who screamed that if we didn't trade a first or second round draft pick for Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon, it proved we didn't care about winning Some real fountains of football wisdom there, eh? -
Saw that. I don't know how they thought that was gonna work. Of course, Dan Quinn was...more flexible.
-
It's worth a lot (especially so around training camp time)

Anyone else remember the name Darion Conner?
-
Cause even if it was lousy, I got a feeling you did better than Delanie Walker... Delanie Walker's girlfriend blows up his life using his Instagram
-
Did he ever actually start a game though?
-
That was Willig.

Firing guys on the defensive side would have been particularly cold coming from Tomsula. But I agree the most likely reason was to show they didn't need Harbaugh or any of his people. Making coaching and roster moves out of spite is a real solid strategy
-
Yes he was. I was waiting to see if anyone else remembered his name.
-
No mention of Doug Evans yet?
-
Unless you were planning to post a pic of your drunken wife, I think you clicked into the wrong thread. Were you aiming for the 'hearts day' thread?
-
How many folks have been around long enough to remember a time when one of our starting tackles was a bulked up tight end?
-
Vincent was actually pretty good for his first season here. He was part of that power blocking unit with (a healthy) Jeff Otah that steamrolled the #1 Bucks defense so bad Monte Kiffin decided to retire. If I remember right though, injuries broke him down the next year.
-
Worst DE is probably Ray Seals. We signed him as a free agent in 97 (if I remember correctly) and he was terrible.
-
You'd have two DT slots, right?
-
Given those conditions, QB has to be Clausen or Weinke.
