  1. At this rate, that might be a valid option. That tweet might be...a tad suspect (if you read the whole thing) I think there's an actual video of him apologizing but I haven't watched it.
  2. I e said before that I think the plan was to sign stopgaps this year and build the OL via the draft. Still looks that way to me.
  3. ...things are getting a little weird At least the issues our team is dealing with are football related Trying to remember, did we have some Urban Meyer fans on here some years back?
  4. That's not coffee in your cup, is it?
  5. Outside of Chinn though, you're talking backup/rotational roles. OL is generally a full time starter.
  6. No argument. But with that said, next year's QB class isn't looking so hot and we might not be in the best position to draft one. I know from Jeff Howe's recent article that so far they've been pretty happy with him and are thinking extension if he continues to progress. (not necessarily blockbuster extension, but extension)
  7. In this case, we're talking about more than one layer. You had the starters, then you have a vet backup in Dennis Daley. Daley's still living off a prior rep, in my opinion.
  8. Possible but I hope not. It took a few weeks to move on from Greg Little, but they did.
  9. I'm not against it. That said, holding a rookie out till you feel he's truly ready is a valid coaching decision too.
  10. No One, I'm not betting a car payment on something this silly. Two, what assurance would I have that random internet guy would pay up anyway? With that said, I have no real reason to believe you have an inside source, so I'll just wait on an actual report.
  11. I'd also throw in some have speculated they want to get Brown's weight down before throwing him out there.
  12. Maybe after you learn how to spell it we can talk
  13. Way more than four games. Heck, probably most of the season. I know everybody wants to say they were the first one to call something, but I don't give a sh-t about that silliness. I prefer having the patience to truly see how things play out.
  14. Likely because the coaches don't think they're ready. And yeah, they may actually be right. I'm all for seeing them play too but I'm not yet convinced we're dealing with another Ron Rivera.
  15. Thinking that four games in our system tells us everything we need to know is absolutely lottery ticket thinking.
  16. In reality, "loser mentality" is acting like the first sign of adversity means everything is wrong and we have to start over.
  17. I've mentioned this previously but it's worth noting again. If you were around for the 2003 Super Bowl run, you probably remember feeling pretty good until about Week 6 when we went against the Titans. That game was even more of a disaster than yesterday was. We absolutely got humbled. People were saying we'd been exposed. All the usual drama. But of course, we recovered and went on to our first Super Bowl appearance. Is this year's team a Super Bowl team? Seriously doubt it. I'm not even sure we're a playoff team yet. But regardless, if you think yesterday defines us, exposes us, all the usual drama, then you're basically just wilting at the first sign of adversity. Pretty bad move, because it's likely not the last adversity will face this season. Get up, dust off and move on.
  18. Trust me when I say I know a thing or two about eggs
  19. I think he's referring to laying an egg, i.e putting in an incredibly bad performance. Take, for example, the initial post in this thread
