  1. Igo, originally. But I agreed and still do. At this point, we're still hoping that he develops into a solid backup. If someone who's already a solid backup becomes available, it wouldn't surprise me to see him gone. But whether that happens or not, he has no shot of unseating Darnold as the starter. The mere suggestion of it is delusional and just plain stupid.
  2. I'd like to think if we could get something in return for Greg Little, we could also get something for Ian Thomas. As to the question, I think even if he does make the team he's going to be used only sparingly.
  3. A pretty sizable portion of those 12 pages is people calling you a dumbass. On that point, there doesn't seem to be much controversy at all.
  4. What makes Minshew at least something of a possibility is that Urban Meyer doesn't really have any connection to him. The Colts drafted both of their backups though, so yeah...not likely to part with them easily.
  5. I'd have no issue trading for a guy like Jacob Eason but I doubt the Colts would accept what we'd be willing to offer, and I doubt we'd be willing to offer what the Colts would accept.
  6. A couple of numbnuts repeatedly blathering stupid bullsh-t doesn't equal "prolonged, public and heated disagreement".
  7. From what I understand, this is not an accurate list. There was a tweet explaining that these names came from a poll or something like that but they don't reflect the actual finalists.
  8. Game starts at 7pm. Overreaction starts at 7:05
  9. Two picks is a good day for a defensive back. For a defensive tackle, that's a "holy sh-t" moment.
  10. I'd add that Fitterer looks to be really well networked around the league. One example, he and Joe Douglas being friends helped with the Darnold trade. And obviously, he's got some friends in Seattle.
  11. There was word the Pats wanted Bridgewater before he signed with us. And his skill set certainly would have fit their system. Of course with that said, his skill set fit our system too
  12. From what I've read about that draft, Meeks was pretty big on Brown. He believed Brown was another Dwight Freeney. That didn't exactly pan out.
  13. My post was about training away future first rounders like Marty did when he traded up to get Everette Brown. That's what I don't want to see again, and I feel pretty comfortable saying I'm not alone in that sentiment. Trading away a first-round pick for a player who's established himself in the league is an entirely different story. On that front, it depends on who the player is.
  14. Marty's relationship with the rest of the league was basically "Give him a call and we'll see if he's dumb enough to take this offer." All too often, he was.
  15. Also reportedly pissed that he wasn't getting what he felt were enough opportunities in 49ers practice. He's consistent. I'll give him that.
  16. You were suggesting that Rhule was protecting Darnold by pointing a finger at the receivers and throwing them under the bus. That's been proven wrong, and frankly it was a stupid take to begin with.
  17. And this...somehow proves that they didn't have a bad day today?
  18. Those are trades of first round picks for established players though. That's not what Marty did.
  19. Yeah... None of that made any sense
