Watching...

Been busy, but thought I'd check in .. We were out of power for a while and have some damage, but were relatively lucky. Some of Lady Cowboy Fan's family got it worse than us so we're trying to help them out. The devastation I've seen around us, including some too close for comfort, is just horrible. I had the joy of visiting Chimney Rock some years back. To see what's happened to it now...

That's not being a company man. It's being a nice guy. I'm sure Davis still wishes Young the best (plenty of people do) though reading between the lines it sounds like he recognizes that "best' is probably not going to come in Carolina. (hence, "career in the NFL" vs "career with the Panthers")

Just once, I'd love to see some big, badass looking monster guy with a tattoo of a bunny or a kitten

Also speaking of effort, Chuba Hubbard refusing to go down is fun to see.

Jumping around like a kid Reminds me of how Luke used to finish his interception returns. In the blink of an eye, he'd go from badass freight train to eight year old playing hopspotch.

Perhaps we should offer a straight up swap of Bryce for Stroud

I'm already in trouble

Been watching the Panthers since the 90s... NFL since the 70s

Watching the Cowboy game with the missus now...just got interesting

"Not Bryce" was the answer. Dalton is still only a short-term answer (maybe not even though the end of this season) but it's a step in the right direction.

They just showed Panthers fans in the crowd and mentioned that they were having fun here in enemy territory. This is about the 40th time this game I've said to myself "When was the last time that happened?"

My wife certainly doesn't fit the description of "Bryce defender" (she thought we should have taken CJ Stroud or Will Levis) but she's repeatedly said "he's just too short to see the field".

Or when someone predicts the same thing for like ten years straight, and when it finally happens goes "See? I saw it coming!"

Yeah. Wait till later... Also right before you grab the cigar, say "Scuse me while I whip this out"

What happened to O'Connell anyway? I remember him looking good but haven't heard anything about him in a while.

So that's a three touchdown lead... I don't remember the last time I heard that phrase used in conjunction with the Panthers.
