I was at the game and I cannot deny this. Cam played well but my buddy and I kept saying over and over, "Imagine if we hadn't let him go." He may not be an elite QB but imagine how 2020 and 2021 might have gone with him simply on the roster.

Emezie cannot get an ounce of separation at the college level and he is not an elite route runner. Those guys are a dime a dozen. Having above average hands and looking like a football player isn't gonna get him far in the NFL. Just because you produced in college doesn't make you an NFL player. This is the most common mistake that almost ALL college football fans make. That and having a little too much homer in them(ask @LinvilleGorge).

I don't think you ask for "final say on personnel" when you are getting hired and then hand over QB personnel decisions to an OC you don't have any ties to. At the end of the day, personnel decisions are all Rhule. Coaching decisions are all Rhule. The decision to hire Rhule.....all Tepper.

I have been a part of countless large corporate entities. Whenever there is widespread chaos or dissatisfaction, it is almost always problems with upper management.

Goes right back into the "WTF are they doing" personnel decision bank. Rhule and Co. specialize in head scratching choices. I guess the one positive is that they seem to figure it out eventually.
