If you have paid attention to the NFL recently, the league is telling you this. Follow the money.

BREAKING: Jaycee Horn in Minor Car Accident
kungfoodude replied to WUnderhill's topic in Carolina Panthers
No doubt. But even so, it will likely be significantly less deadly than people currently are. Especially at the current death rate. -
A good WR is infinitely more valuable than a JAG MLB. Even if they were of equal skill, positional value has WR exceptionally ahead.

Hence why I am all for the maturation of automated driving. It will remove the most dangerous components on every road, the people. -

Boston people are nuts when it comes to combative driving. They are actively seeking confrontation. Same with their retarded sports fans. -

I would rather Baltimore or Manhattan personally. I will say the most insane was Lake Charles, LA. That place was straight looney toons. Almost everyone I knew working there while I was down there had been hit by someone running a red light. I genuinely never touched the gas on a green light, you were bound to see some mush mouthed swamp Frenchie blow straight through the red seconds afterwards doing way over the speed limit. Never seen anything like that place. I will say OH/MI drivers take the cake for driving in the rain. I have never seen the amount of wrecks in just regular rain that I do in those areas. -

Why must CLT residents keep attempting to smear Panthers players on the roads? WTF is wrong with these people? -

CLT is top 2-3 in the US for awful drivers. It's insane. -

I mean.....$15 mil AAV for a situational/rotational guy is not good. -

It was worse last season, on paper. It takes time. -

I would say nothing to see yet but Robinson over Wharton would be a really bad sign by Game 1. -
I have us in the 4-6 win range again. It's a steep hill to climb and this is a still a very bad roster, IMO. However, it does appear to be a BETTER roster than last season, so I think that is the most important thing for us at this point. Gotta start building at some point. Well, we are really only 7 years in this hole. People really do forget we were good again after 2015. The suck truly started in 2018. I don't necessarily think we are completely hopeless. I just believe firmly that you don't go from the worst roster in the NFL(which was our roster last season) and build that into a winner quickly. Especially when your building blocks are so few. It's just a time thing. I do predict that we go through at least one more coaching staff and FO before we do hitting a winning season again. The track record is just already established on the owner and his impatience. Impatience rarely gets better with age.

Panthers luck will be he never stays healthy again after a big contract. We have seen that curse here before, that's for damn sure.

No doubt. I honestly started this thinking we would be in the bottom half of the NFL in this but was very surprised to see how high up this list we actually were. I think the thing is that our stretches of futility have been relatively short until now. But, we also rarely have ever had any appreciable stretches of winning. Still have never had back to back winning seasons(no one in the NFL can say that).

Minnesota - 3 Baltimore - 4 Dallas - 5 Pittsburgh - 5 Green Bay - 6 Kansas City - 6 Carolina - 7 Denver - 7 Houston - 7 Miami - 7 Tennessee - 7 Washington - 7 LA Chargers - 8 NY Giants - 8 San Francisco - 8 Seattle - 8 Buffalo - 9 Chicago - 9 Indianapolis - 9 Jacksonville - 9 New England - 9 Atlanta - 10 Detroit - 10 NY Jets - 11 Philadelphia - 11 Cleveland - 12 Arizona - 13 Las Vegas - 13 LA Rams - 13 Cincinnati - 14 Tampa Bay - 14 New Orleans - 20 Looked into this today and was pretty shocked to see how well we have done historically in comparison to the league as a whole. So, while this is definitively the worst stretch in franchise history, it could be a lot worse. The negative is, it could also get a lot worse. Either way, it was interesting to see some of these INSANE stretches of futility.

I still predict it is unlikely we see an above .500 record before the 2030 NFL season. Hopefully I am wrong but we ended up digging a hole so deep that the franchise has never been in this position before. I just think that really is going to take a lot of time to recover from.

Yep. It was a proud tradition. Maybe it will one day return again.

Actually, they have reported on some drops. But, given that they have a monopoly on info, it's going to be almost impossible to see if that is a trend or just a blip.

We are many years removed from that part of our history. It's retreating far enough in the rear view that our "historic" average is steadily getting fuged up as we move forward in time.
