It really doesn't but what case with the NFL?
-
Well the official word from both sides was that there was a negotiation on going. Were we just bluffing? Also http://nfltraderumors.co/long-term-contract-extension-for-panthers-de-greg-hardy-now-more-likely/

Goodell took him off the field not us (except for one game)

If the payment was not to pursue the case that is just a settlement. If the payment was specifically to disappear then maybe. No idea. I really doubt there was a payment but we will likely never know.

Probably legal. Reading some legalese... Whoever kills or attempts to kill another person, with intent to— Whoever uses physical force or the threat of physical force against any person, or attempts to do so, with intent to— Whoever knowingly uses intimidation, threatens, or corruptly persuades another person, or attempts to do so, or engages in misleading conduct toward another person, with intent to— © Whoever corruptly— (1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or (2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so, Whoever intentionally harasses another person and thereby hinders, delays, prevents, or dissuades any person from— etc. I don't think giving her money satisfies any of those unless there were some threats involved. Or he hit her... I am not a lawyer.

We tagged him because we thought we could work out a long term friendlier deal before the season.

It happens all the time and I don't think the settlement was necessarily money. In this case it could have been make no contact with Holder. If it were money it mustn't have been much if the prosecution had no case.

I think it does. Not guilty anyway.

Report: Panthers Not Expected To Bring Back Hardy
Happy Panther replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
If he is found not guilty then what was the screw up? He isn't signing a cheap restrictive contract anywhere. If he can play he will make bank. -

I think the fact that we couldn't get a long term deal done before any of his legal issues popped up pointed to him being elsewhere. -

Nobody is signing him for cheap even if he is found guilty. Your assumption regarding JR is supposition and probably false. -
The wine and cheese thing is mostly a myth. Maybe in the boxes. I have sat in dozens of spots in the lower bowl and upper and people stand and cheer just like any spot. Never been asked to sit down or be quiet.
