  1. That was also before this season. If we go out and kick some ass this year, or at least show a lot of improvement on offense, why wouldn't one of them want to come here?
  2. PJ Walker? No, Im not forgetting him. PJ is competent as far as backup QBs go.
  3. Well poo, I did not know that. Oh well. Personally I don't think it matters one bit. All the guys we have from Temple and Baylor are legit NFL players. Its not like hes signing guys that don't have any business on an NFL roster.
  4. Most of the Temple guys were not even there when Rhule was there. Just Reddick and Anderson, right?
  5. Yessir. With the young talent we have all over the roster, and the cap flexibility we have moving forward, the future is VERY bright in Charlotte!
  6. It rolls over to the next year and becomes the actual cap money for that season. So, if we roll over, say, 20 million this year, and we already have 30 mil next year, our official cap number is 50 million under. Then we would have whatever remains after that, once we sign everybody, to roll over to the next season.
  7. Isn't Shi supposed to be back in a couple weeks? I imagine he will take over PR duties full time once hes back healthy. Either that or they're planning on signing another returner.
  8. Wow, that one was unexpected. I thought he was gonna be a solid addition when we signed him. I guess the emergence of Terrace Marshall kinda did away with the need for him. TMJ is gonna eat up all the WR3 snaps and we have guys like Zylstra and Shi Smith (when he returns) who can fit in better at WR4.
  9. So did I, but apparently he was actually pretty good back in his day? Who knew?
  10. Hey did you guys know that supposedly there is this famous basketball player named Michael Jordan, too? EDIT - got my "Rising Star" badge. Can't nobody tell me poo now.
  11. Or 2003 for that matter. Teams always come out of nowhere to have great seasons.
  12. I believe its money that was already paid out as signing bonuses and guaranteed money to the player.
  13. And? We have 35 million right now for next year, plus whatever gets rolled over this year. Some of y'all cannot be happy about anything, I swear....
  14. Jesus. We'd be 70 million under the cap if not for all this bullshit.
  15. Everybody is competing for a title. If not, then whats the point? Who says we cannot make a run this year? Don't get me wrong, I don't really think we're gonna win the SB this year, but everybody in the organization has to go into each season with the mindset of doing everything they can to be successful in this season.
  16. If we stay pretty much put with what we have now, and roll it into next year, we will have something like 60-70 million in space as it stands now. We're in freaking FANTASTIC shape, cap wise.
  17. https://overthecap.com/nfl-cap-update-for-september-1/ Team Cap Space Panthers $23,652,565 Broncos $21,938,294 Washington $16,329,474 Steelers $15,719,362 Jets $15,419,225 Browns $14,389,671 Chargers $14,028,115 Bengals $13,770,510 Lions $12,980,986 Eagles $12,504,118 Seahawks $11,150,161 Packers $9,869,754 Not too shabby. We have plenty of wiggle room to go out and sign multiple players, and/or make a trade for a somewhat expensive player with room left over. This is a first for me being a fan of the Panthers. Usually we're in cap Hell. Good job Fitt-Dawg.
  18. Yet you have a Temple player as your profile pic?
