IDK I synced up 99.9 instead of listening to the national announcers again. They haven't mentioned any penalties yet.

Good on Aho for going after Stamkos there. Stamkos knew where there boards were when he went for that cross check. Luckily, nothing came of it.

Our 3 captains are the heart and soul of this team. Slavs is the strong silent type who goes out and does their job everyday, quietly one of the best Dmen in the league. Martyman is the vocal leader, hyping guys up and keeping the energy high. And Staal is the grizzled vet who has been around there block and seen everything there is to see. He doesn't get rattled when we're down, he puts the team on his back and scores when we need it most.

I said it before this series. We need to take all goalie decisions away from RBA. He is a great coach! But, he clearly has a blind spot when it comes to the net. Mraz should've started games 4 & 5 against NSH. Ned would've been in much better shape for games 1 & 2 against TB. A rested Ned probably pulls out one of the home games. We all know the younger Levy doesn't give up 6 tonight. With proper goalie management, we could easily be sitting on a 3-1 lead right now. We have the horses to run with TB!

We definitely need to shake things up a bit. The current lines aren't working. I'm not against putting Mrazek in now. But, imo, it's too little too late. He should have played games 4 & 5 against Nashville. I'm starting to wonder if we need to let someone other than Rod make the goalie decisions in the playoffs? I still think fatigue is the biggest factor in this series. We were as close to the spiderman meme as NHL teams can get in the regular season. Kucherov is good, but not good enough to explain the difference on the ice. The good news is that fatigue fades. We are not out of this series yet. Is being down 2-0 in a home playoff series ideal? Hell no! Is it going to be harder to come back and win this without Nino and Trocheck? Absolutely. But, reports of our demise have been grossly overstated.

Call it whatever you want. But, more than a few guys looked like they knew the loss was inevitable. Even after Svech scored. We had 6 statues passing the puck back and forth waiting for someone else to take a shot for a good 30 seconds during that "final push."
