    FYI... Sports journalism is entertainment journalism. Clicks are king. You can spend a month writing a long form insightful article and no one will read it. A 5 minute hit piece? That will have traction. It's not the fault of the reporters, they have to publish what people want to see. I blame the ever dwindling attention span of the public.

    You don't seem to understand what happened this off-season. It isn't a retooling. They wiped the board completely clean and are starting over. It is not a continuation. Looking at last year's record is completely meaningless.

    If you expected a playoff year this year with rookie QB, entirely new staff, completely new schemes on offense and defense...... You don't football very well. That's never been the way it works. Calm down and enjoy the process of watching a young team develop into something more (hopefully).

    The second preseason game of the year and the Panthers have a ton of room to improve. What would make you happy or at least give you a little bit of hope?

    This will be a losing season, just like 2011 was. The fun in it is that we get to watch a young team grow into what we hope will be a playoff team. By year 3 I suspect we will be there.
