Will say this…folks in here looking for a Herbert or Lawrence for that matter won’t find it physically. That guy doesn’t exist in this draft. I did mention on this board that if you liked Lawrence as a prospect you should like Herbert as well. Herbert came out the prior year and his quiet demeanor scared off some scouts but he had a eerily similar physical make up to Lawrence.

I seriously considered putting something like this together but thank you for doing this analysis. I haven’t done something similar for Howell but I would bet he was remarkably consistent regardless of comp. Not amazing mind you but consistent I like the idea of comparing players against thier 5 toughest opponents. Many of these guys feast on lower comp opponents which inflates their stats. Again…thanks

Joe Burrow is going to be a superstar. So impressive what he has done with that team (off a bad injury no less) with a similarly terrible OL is amazing.

If we plug Howell into this offense as is he will get destroyed and will fail miserably. Tom Brady would fail with our OL.

Pickett is probably a better athlete but Jones has him everywhere else. Jones being drafted to that situation also helped him a ton. Just against Picketts full body of work but respect your opinion if you like him

He has a chance to be good…no doubt. Little early to say he is better than Howell IMO but he has talent. What he did with his supporting cast was really impressive though. Miami is definitely pointed up.

K Pickett was consistently below average before this season. Will be 24 before the draft. He had a nice year but he has red flags for days IMO. Mac Jones was way more accomplished against much better comp on a much bigger stage. Not comparable IMO. The Joe Burrow comp is so out there I just can’t wrap my head around it. Bust written all over Pickett

Putting Howell in a realistic perspective. If last years QBs were in this draft he would probably always be the 3rd or 4th guy. It is debatable. I think Howell is going to be that player that rises later that people overlooked. Now…if we pick him he needs to sit…a while as we are one of those bad situations unless Fitty pulls some amazing Merlin type OL signings
