Apparently we are totally all over the CBs. I mean building the defense makes sense but the value feels light especially at 8. I really hope this isn’t true If we are smoking teams I keep thinking that we like the USC OL. AVT. Dunno why I feel that way.

Damn I remember those games sitting there with a few beers. Randy Moss was so incredibly mind blowing. The league may never see a more talented WR. I know we are talking QBs but Moss was so amazingly dominant.

True story about the Manning/Leaf draft prep. The Colts were without question considering Leaf at #1 and at many times thought he was the more talented player. They hired a behavioral expert to interview both guys, it was that close. The guy said I would not draft Leaf. Bobby Bethared (Chargers GM) did the same but was so enthralled with Leafs talent he ignored the advice. The rest is history. These days these QBs are vetted to an amazing degree but back then the psch eval was not common.

Until I hear Goodell say it tomorrow night I won’t believe it isn’t Fields. Never thought they had to go the 3 for Jones.

If we do in fact take a QB at 8 his value goes to like zero. Everyone would know at that point he is being released. Decent move as we basically traded Teddy, a 2nd and 4th for Darnold.

If the bar being set is Jake Delhomme the bar is too low. I want better than Jake Delhomme.
