Let's say you can take ONE NON-QB PLAYER from EACH SUPERBOWL TEAM
WarHeel replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kelce. Best TE in the league and it’s not even close. -
In the end zone? Anybody really. Couldn’t have done much worse.

I’ve heard people divided on this all season. Did Thomas really regress or did Brady under utilize him? I’ll be honest, I didn't analyze this enough during the season but one thing is for sure, his absence was felt.
-
Watching KC vs Buffalo I have to say we undervalued the TE position this season. Mahomes has thrown underneath all evening and Kelce has beaten his man nearly every damn play. When he’s not hitting Kelce for a first down Hill is juking half the secondary out of their cleats for a huge gain. Would we gripe about Teddy dinking/dunking as much if our guy is muscling his way for a first down every completion?

No Brady or Brees would certainly improve our situation in Carolina.

That is an interesting factoid and not debating that whatsoever.

3 of the last 6 years has seen NFC South teams compete in the Super Bowl. Albeit, both Carolina and ATL didn’t come away with a win, Brady and the Bucs will have a chance to do what they couldn’t. I figured this was a telling stat of the competition we have had to endure the last few years and perhaps points to a bit of our mediocrity as well.

I might be in the minority in this but I hope this doesn’t become a trend in the NFL. I don’t know what happened in Houston and not saying Watson is or isn’t justified in wanting to leave. With that said...I’ve stopped watching NBA altogether due to the ever growing trend in players dictating where they play and who they play with. It sucks the fun out of the competition for me. Prima donnas creating super teams and chasing rings just doesn’t carry the same excitement as the organic experience that there use to be. Just my opinion, poo away if you’d like.

Yup... I like the idea of pairing him with Moore. With CMC coming back and drawing attention from the secondary it could be fun to watch.

The Past 10 years of First Round QB Drafting
WarHeel replied to CarolinaSunday's topic in 2025 NFL Draft
I don’t know too many people vouching for drafting a QB after the first. Most arguing against drafting one in the first are doing so on the notion that you need to sell the farm to do so. -
I’m more concerned with the “signs” and not so much the “symptoms.”

Watson not the only big name vet at QB that we're looking at?
WarHeel replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This. I don’t think we need a Watson caliber player to compete for a Lombardi with the weapons we have as long as we protect the QB and don’t become anemic on defense. This move makes a lot of sense. -
People see what they want to see. Most vouching for a CMC trade were against drafting him to begin with. His injurious season last year is the crow they’ve been waiting to serve for 3 years. They’ll likely eat their share next year now that the organization has figured out they can spread the ball around and not put the entire workload on his back.
-
I mentioned it because people seem to think the only way we could pull off a trade is to give up our biggest asset. QB is the most important position in football but you don’t trade your best weapon leaving your new franchise QB without a future HOF weapon.
-
I love seeing the negative pie count. Nice touch, Igo.
-
What makes anybody think Watson wants to come here with a busted O-line and the absence of the best weapon we’ve had in Carolina since Steve Smith? QBs salivate at the notion of handing off or passing to a guy like CMC. He makes them look that damn good. Stop with the nonsense.
-
Thanks for the hot take. Now fug off.

“Produce” is one word. Obliterate franchise and NFL records is another thing altogether. CMC is status and one season of unlucky injuries isn’t changing that. Time y’all started accepting it.
