  1. I'd say a lot of us fans preferred Stroud, but weren't lying when we said we would be happy with either QB. I still like Stroud a little better, but I am excited for Young being our new QB. It was a win/win and still is.
  2. So we have people dying by stats in college but wanting AR as the pick??
  3. Yeah the aggressive hard hitters are hurt a lot. Derwin James is always hurt, Kam Chancellor had trouble with it too. Too aggressive can be bad no matter the size…
  4. Lol you aren’t a hater? Us drafting Young has you up at night posting nonsense.
  5. https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-week-7-quarterback-rankings Key Stat: 88.2 passing grade on non-first-read throws since 2021, second-best in the nation. There is no one better at processing defenses and getting through progressions. Young is a natural when it comes to making plays when knocked off rhythm and rarely allows the defense to make a play on the ball.
  6. I never said you weren’t. I just know that guy is on every post about Young saying how bad he is AKA hating on him.
  7. You compare him to Webster and mock him regularly. It’s straight up hate. Be a hater if you want, just don’t be in denial about it.
  8. Is it rent free if you are spamming every post? Seems like a pretty time consuming rent to me?
  9. Lol right. I was trying to figure out who he was arguing for… maybe Tua or Wentz if either could stay healthy?? Still don’t see Wentz in Stroud at all. Stroud is Goff with Burrow being his absolute ceiling if you want to do a comp ( which I don’t really understand as no two players are the same)
  10. Pretty sure you were “loud for Stroud” who played at OSU…
  11. Honey Badger was a great tackler. He was like 5’9.
  12. I’m talking about tackles and injuries at the position. Isn’t that what you were mentioning with Jackson? Holding and pulling aren’t really relevant to that conversation. We can bring it current if you want. The top tackling DB last year was Jalen Pitre safety from Houston. 5’11 198 with 147 tackles.
  13. Yeah but that response is in context. He referred to Jackson being scarred to tackle and always hurt due to his size. I showed a smaller player at the same position that wasn’t.
  14. Ronde Barber was a great tackling CB. He ranks 3rd in tackles. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-tackles-by-a-cornerback-career His size? 5’10” 184. Jackson is always hurt with leg injuries. Hamstrings seem to linger and most recently torn Achilles. Those aren’t typically from tackling/contact.
  15. He “rarely” finishes in the pocket? You are watching too many highlight clips. He leaves the pocket when he has to in order to keep the play alive similar to Mahomes and Rodgers. I’m not saying he is on par with either of those, but saying he rarely finishes from the pocket let’s me know you didn’t watch many games of his.
  16. https://www.espn.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/37574/height-not-top-concern-for-panthers-in-bryce-young-c-j-stroud-draft-debate?platform=amp This article shows the elaboration and he even mentions how Bryce is good at limiting hits in the pocket.
  17. He elaborated with it’s an unknown because there aren’t many QBs his size. Mentioned smaller players like Marvin Harrison and Barry Sanders who were good at avoiding big hits and staying healthy. I am trying to find the actual video…
  18. Durability I believe he said was clearly a concern.
  19. I mean Young is the most commonly ranked top QB in this draft, but there is no way our staff liked him best without Tepper making them!
  20. There is a direct correlation with people who don’t like the pick and people who are blaming it on Tepper. It’s impossible that this staff and all of their experience likes a QB that a random fan doesn’t like. No way that could ever happen…
  21. I feel Fitt liked Young from the beginning and maybe Reich had several he was high on. It’s not hard to see why Young won them over once they got to know the prospects. He is going to crush any interview and can probably dive into game tape better than any of them. Throw in his actual game tape and he tops out the competition.
  22. Makes sense. The Titans already have a mini AR in Willis. If they trade up it’s for the more polished passer IMO. I like your mock though!
