  1. You started off with completely wrong info. Sam is 6’3” 225 and Corral is 6’2” 205. I mean Baker is 6’0” and you can see Darnold is a good bit taller in pictures together. You can even get something as simple as QB height right. Just Google the poo instead of pulling it out of your ass. Keep talking about lions and meat because there was no data to be wrong about that way.
  2. No one gives a poo about Fanfest. That’s just some PR for the fans. In actual TC Baker has looked better than Sam. It’s not even a debate as a majority of the analysts are saying it. Again Sam is taller/bigger than Corral so your “football midgets” is just another nonsense take. Trask was the best QB, then Strong (undrafted). Now Sam is outplaying Baker. Man you are on a roll… Corral just needs some time and Baker can provide that for him.
  3. Lol Baker has absolutely looked better. Don’t be all pissy because your little lion cub had a bad outing. He will be fine in the long run. Keep these good takes up though and no one is going to take you seriously….
  4. I mean he hasn't has much to work with until now. Bad QBs plus a bad OL for them to throw behind has to be one hell of a challenge for a QB coach.
  5. One could argue Sam played better than PJ yesterday. Sam would get signed if he was cut, PJ could clear waivers and can be stashed on the PS. I mean we found him has a FA that was just finished playing in the XFL....
  6. I mean it's 2 defenders making contact and one has his helmet in Robbie's chin. I would have been VERY impressed if he did catch that. The effort was there, but he isn't elite and we all know this. I think RA is going to be good this year.
  7. If Rhule was the main person behind it he wouldn’t be doing this open competition thing IMO. I think it was Fitt and Rhule is trying to see if he can salvage any part of the Darnold mistake.
  8. He is going to have to cut PJ or Darnold. He can’t keep 4 QBs on the roster. That’s just a waste of a roster spot and stupid. Damn it that’s exactly what he is going to do isn’t it???
  9. Here is what Ian Rap had to say about it a few days ago. We are probably keeping Sam as 2 and Matt will be the 3 where he can sit and learn. PJ is basically out here wasting snaps/reps.
  10. https://www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/nfl/2022/8/9/23298113/sam-darnold-trade-rumors-panthers-seahawks-broncos-falcons-browns-nfl
  11. Once again it’s not worth the possibility of some team trading for Darnold (because it will be a low pick and very little money they are taking on) to take away reps from our new starting QB this season. They need to either release/trade Sam or send PJ to the practice squad if they think Sam is our backup. Corral also needs reps because he is too valuable to stash on the PS so he is going to need to be able to semi-run our offense in case of injuries.
  12. Yeah I’d expect a missed block or two in his first preseason game on a new team/scheme with new OL around him. They need to keep our starting OL out longer the next game to let them build some chemistry.
  13. Anywhere else? Lol he is only 26 was drafted in the second round by the dysfunctional Browns and only played there his rookie year before being traded to the Rams. So all you are saying is he looked bad his rookie year playing for the Browns and played much better when traded to another team.
  14. Didn’t realize Corbett played poorly. He was solid with the Rams last year. They really need to get their starting lineup situated so they can gel together.
  15. Yeah I think Robbie is going to be ok this year. Last year’s sorry excuse of an offense had him frustrated and out of sync. I think it’s just trendy to hate on him because he is outspoken.
  16. BC looks like he belongs on the OL as a starter. If Horn can stay healthy and we get anything out of TMJ or Tremble that 21 class could be decent… Shi is starting to come along, Taylor got some good PT last year and is good depth. Even Hoskins is starting to look ok.
  17. Interesting. BC looked better at LG than I thought he would. His quickness at footwork look pretty solid. It seems clear than Icky and BC need to be the starters on the left side. How did Bozeman look? I’m sure better than Elf…
  18. Exactly! Also in order for it to work we need to practice it, but we will only practice it if it’s working.
  19. It’s definitely some “players’ coach, building competitive culture” BS that may work in college but not the NFL.
  20. Did Cade Mays play yesterday? If so how did he look? I think he might develop into a solid guard down the road.
  21. I get wanting to advertise him for a trade but he won’t fetch more than a late round pick and maybe $1 or $2 million of his contract. The question is, is that worth taking away reps from your new starter (who fumbled on an exchange and had a misread with one of his WRs) and hindering your rookies development. Just cut PJ (or put him on the practice squad if we can) and let Sam be the backup. If someone wants to trade for him it won’t be hard to bump or PJ or sign a vet of his caliber.
  22. Yeah, Baker looked good but the OL needs work. It’s starts with getting your best 5 guys on the field. Elf, Erving, and Jordan should just be depth at this point which is ok. They are decent backups, just not good starters. Icky should always be out there because he is just going to get better each play.
