  1. He might be 4th on our list before year 3 if he is good
  2. And even more embarrassing is that 5th on our list is Kelvin "I'm so fat I weigh more than offensive linemen" Benjamin
  3. I think you mean Smitty Moose DJ Moore Air Bud Clifford Franklin (that WR from The Replacements) Every other Panthers receiver not named Dwayne Jarrett A broken condom Dwayne Jarrett
  4. Saw this comment on Reddit about Thielen and it immediately made me depressed how awful our WRs have been since our inception. EntropyFighter •53m ago He's already #16 WR in Panthers history by receiving yards. Another 1k season and he'll be #7. He's one of the more impactful WRs we've had in Panthers history
  5. I think this is the time for us to be stingy. They need Thielen a lot more than we need a 6th. I would hold out for a 4th
  6. Wouldn't be surprised if Renfrow is left off, but I do think he is the 2nd best option in the slot behind Coker when AT is traded (assuming we don't use Tet in the slot). The more I think, the more I start believing Horn is the odd man out and somebody we hope to stash on PS. Hopefully I am wrong though and Moore is the one we cut. Tet-XL-Cokehead-Renfrow-Tremayne-Moore
  7. I don't think Horn gets much playing time at all unless injuries happen. I think Coker gets first crack at slot WR with Tet and XL starting out wide.
  8. Can't wait to hear the return is a 7th round pick swap or something worthless like that...
  9. Looks like people in the Panthers reddit forum with inside sources say the trade is a done deal, but don't know the return yet.
  10. Not the worst move - we can theoretically draft his replacement next year and then after 2027, cut ties if his play falls off or if he can't stay healthy
  11. I say keep neither and use that extra roster spot on a WR or defense depth
  12. Tell your colleague to log into an AIM chat room so y'all can ASL
  13. Yeah, but Pickles admirably served his role - Commander in chief of the NFL version of the Bad News Bears to lead us to Cam
  14. You should know the Panthers MO by now... Terrible most of the year then win 1 or 2 meaningless games to end the season, drop 5-10 spots in the draft, and lose out on a franchise QB
  15. Watching Plummer play QB for this team will do it to the best of us...
  16. I'll take the worst preseason ever if we can finish above.500 this year...
  17. If it isn't Fitz, we are just that re tar ded... We aren't winning the superb owl - why keep a kicker that is the equivalent of a sloppy seven-nds
  18. I sadly am getting the same vibe. Crazy to not take the preseason seriously with the amount of new/young players we have this year.
  19. If we get very lucky and have no injuries... 6-11 or 7-10 With bad injury luck, good chance at 3-14
  20. Everyone knows we don't start trying until we are 0-5 to start the season...
  21. Agreed... Even moreso when Perkins looked 100x better than plummer the plumber
  22. I hear what you are saying, but he honestly had a similar profile to Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson entering the draft. I think he has all the talent to be great; it's just a matter if he can stay healthy and learn to read defenses. He also really had nobody to throw to at WR when he was on the field. I still wanted CJ number 1 and had Bryce and AR as a distant 2 and 3. AR was definitely a pick that when you made it, you sit him at least year 1 (like the Giants are going to do with Dart). Colts rushed him out there and have paid the price for it so far.
  23. Interesting and fair point. I think the Bears also have to go all-out with their playcalling in the preseason because they have a new OC with a completely new playbook. Hard to be vanilla in your playcalling then expect your team to know every play week 1 when they only had an offseason to learn the playbook
