I think I remember 1 deep ball from Dalton last year (in the Jets game to XL after Bryce got hurt). Before last season, I don't remember but Dalton's longest pass was 39 yards in 2024, so I can't imagine he threw it deep much (he somehow had a lower YPA than Bryce...) Canales just likes to run a quick pass offense. Not sure if that's related to Bryce, the oline, or what, but it seems like he wants the ball out in 3 seconds or less. What I want to see next year is more RPO. That playoff game against the Rams was the best Bryce looked last year and we looked at our best running the RPO slant to TMac.

Damn, you must have no faith in this team. We will probably be favored over the Bengals (and maybe the Browns) and slight underdogs (3 points or less) to the Bears, Broncos, & Steelers. Bengals can't play D, Broncos are gonna hardcore regression to the mean next year, Steelers are mediocre at best, Browns are young with no QB, Packers are Jekyll & Hyde, Bears were pretty flukey with an insane turnover margin + 4th Q comebacks. Lamar seems to be wearing down + no Harbaugh for Ravens. While it looks bad on paper, I think our schedule last year was just as bad. Having to play the 49ers, Rams, Seahawks, Bills, Packers, Jaguars, and Pats were rough.

I feel like every year they predict SOS before the season and it often times does not align up. Most people would have thought NE was an easy win last year and would have dropped opposing teams SOS pre-season. Honestly our schedule isn't really that much harder than the Bucs or Falcons. Not much difference between Denver/LAC/KC, SF/Rams/Seattle, and Philly/Dallas IMO. Saints did get it easier because they get the Raiders and Cardinals (wouldn't sleep on the Giants though). I'm still curious to see if Slough is as good in his sophomore season now that teams have tape on him.

We really need to let the training wheels off of him this year and see what he can do. Call more deep routes and let's see if his mediocre arm strength can make those throws. I feel like it's a battle of is it the chicken (bryce can't throw deep) or the egg (Canales rarely calls plays with deep routes)... Bryce can still escape blame for not throwing it deep because we literally never have people run deep. Hopefully Brazzell gives us that extra deep ball threat to finally decide if its the chicken or the egg.

Very true also. But we have hated on Freddie for many years. We have only hated on Miller for this year

Freddie! He has easily stolen 2, possibly 3 of our wins for us in the playoffs. He made some huge saves in overtime and is the only reason we had the chance to score the OT winner

Feel like Freddie should have gotten 1 of our stars there
