Absolutely insane that it’s already been that long ago. Man I miss the Riverboat Ron, Cam, Luke, Davis, Olsen, etc.. days. Used to never miss a snap of Panthers football. I haven’t kept up with it nearly the same the last few years. Now I just watch whatever is the best game on even if Carolina is playing.

I think roughing the passer should only be called if the hit is late, too low while the QB is in the pocket, helmet to helmet or if you can tell that the defender was obviously trying to drive him into the ground. Calling it because a defenders fingertips touched the QBs helmet or because he landed on him as just part of a routine tackle is ridiculous.

I haven’t really cared since like 2019 tbh. Used to watch every play of every panthers game even when I knew we weren’t making the playoffs. Ik players come and go but it just hasn’t been the same since guys like Cam, Luke, TD, Olsen, etc.. left. I’ll still turn the game on and halfway pay attention but if there’s a better game on at the same time I’ll watch that.

Still a perfect hit today. What more could the defender do besides just not hit him and let him catch it? No helmet contact, used his shoulder, didn’t leave his feet… looked good to me.
