  1. No, we are just pointing at facts. You said he extended Short. He didn't. Nothing you say will change that.
  2. When was it? Because the only contract extension reported by OTC or Sporttrac was in April 2017. It was negotiated after originally being given the Franchise Tag. No mention anywhere else that I can see after that. He was given a 5 year extension on April 17, 2017. On Sept 7, 2019 some salary was converted to bonus in order to clear some cap room but that wasn't an extension by any definition,
  3. You don't seem to understand how bonus and dead money works. It would in no way be the same. Takes one time on sportsman or OTC using the various options of cuts and releases and how they affect a contract. Specifically you need to understand the difference between salary and bonus. He's much easier to cut in the final year of his contract for reasons hat should be obvious math.
  4. Did you know it was 3rd this season?
  5. We wouldn't suffer greatly losing CMC other than the cap implications of trading him the first year of his extension. That's the problem with trading him now
  6. This is the argument of a person with a very poor understanding of how things work. Obviously the rough amount of salary payed to the roster is generally the the same. How you divide it up clearly matters as well. So the its not your pocket logic makes no sense. Now you know
  7. Anybody who watched tv or movies in the 80's knows the brachial stun. I can't count the number of times it was used on the Duke Boys.
  8. Some of us have a small inkling of how to read contract cap implications.
  9. I'd trade CMC but a quick look at his contract shows that's not feasible given our "brink of disaster" cap situation. This whole thing has been a click farmers bumper crop. All around.
  10. There's some logic too that. Makes a lot more sense to have a pipeline of defensive backs than to spend big on them.
  11. Prices Chicken Coop. It's a Charlotte institution but it's disgusting.
  12. One thing people always mention about things you do in Charlotte. poo your pants fun.
  13. If Jax and Houston weren't in the same division they would make perfect trade partners. Jax gets a guy they know can play while they have a dickload of draft picks including 2 in each round except the 6th which is unreal. They also have the most cap space.
  14. At least we don't have to worry about any of these idiotic trade suggestions coming to fruition.
  15. Trading CMC now has a pretty large negative affect on our cap by itself. It doesn't matter if anyone wants him or not.
  16. Nevermind......it got his foot in the in person interview. ps I hate this new edit window limitation
  17. The timeline of that story is odd. It doesn't sound like his quip got his foot in the door but maybe sealed the deal. He got his foot in the door because they decided to reset and request more interviews.
