Because a defensive coach is going to help Bryce break out his shell?
-
Sure, in garbage time. That's when Bryce shines.
-
Sarcasm, yes?
-
Frank, why did you do that!
-
Lol, we can't win for losing.
-
Burns must have dirt on Fitterer, dude wouldn't trade Brian for 4 first round draft picks.
-
The defense knows he will panic. He always does. If Thielen ain't open, the play is over.

Frank Reich has the hottest seat in the NFL right now per Jay Glazer
45catfan replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, he's just doomed with this roster. I think even Frank knows it. -
Nah man, I was barking up that tree after a few game when it was CRYSTAL CLEAR mini-computer wasn't the bill of goods we were sold. So keep him in and he will sink or swim. He's either going to get better or become Daivd Carr. Either way, it's to late in the schedule to turn to the backup to save the season.

I don't.

With this roster, very unlikely. This team is the NFL's version of the 'Bad News Bears.' -

People want that bag. They do NOT want this job for any other reason. Jimbo Fisher is the example why "sharks" want this job. -
Highest point output of the season by this offense in one of the hardest stadiums to play in.

Dalton be like: 'C'mon man, you can't put me in versus the Colts or Bears, but expect me to save the day versus Dallas?'

BREAKING: Panthers cut starting O-lineman
45catfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Deonte Brown experiment is now officially over. Another Rhule pick outta here. Dude has been on the practice squad for like 3 years now. If you can't crack this O-line, not even sniff the 53, then you pretty much stink. We are signing warm bodies off the street and ol' buddy was getting routinely passed over on the practice squad. -
Ugh, unless he's grown up, he has some serious maturity issues. I don't keep up withe Gamecock football, but that was a knock on him at Oklahoma. Maybe he's changed.

Report: Panthers fans frustrated by David Tepper. Some in the building think he's clueless on how to run a football team.
-
Same players too. There's the main problem.
-
Nor is he a threat to run the ball on designed plays. I bet the "tush push" isn't even in our playbook.
-
Cool, maybe O'Brien can schedule South Carolina, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt while he's at it too. Bryce had success against those guys.
-
I agree with the premise, but a rookie QB adds a lot of variables, most of which negatively impact the offense. Also, those were/are not first year coaching staffs in the examples used. That is why it is so ironic that first year coaching staffs that have a high draft pick go after a QB, but their fate ultimately lies with that QB development, usually with an unfortunate ending.

Can't be that. Hubbard would have to be that guy and Foreman-equse he is not. Even if you are not a power run team, you still need that back in your tool bag. That's the reason first down sucks, we don't have a tackle breaking, pile pushing RB. Again, Hubbard is taking on that role, but that's not who he is.

Does Young sprain an ankle this week?
45catfan replied to Brent Gregory's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Bryce would have to have a rock star cast to be successful. Herbstreet mentioned SF as a place Bryce could be successful. No poo, what NFL caliber QB couldn't? My point is Bryce is limited physically, but given an ideal roster and staff he could maximize what he has to offer. That place is not here. It would literally take his entire rookie contract for this thing to get back on track--if even then. -
The OLs problem is two-fold. First are injuries and secondly is scheme. If...BIG IF, we can stay healthy and solidify the LG position, I think we will see strides made with the OL. Ickey has had a rotating door next to him all season. Couple that with less help than he had last season while protecting a rookie QB with WRs that can't get open, yeah, he's had a rough year. The skill positions are lacking tremendously. That's the main problem.

I mean the only WRs I would keep after the season is Thielen and Mingo...Mingo only because he could develop into something.
