  1. That can't be correct. He did make a ton of them off that motion/orbit/wheel route, but one of his biggest plays last season was a drag he turned into a long TD. Can't remember what game it was. But yes, the majority of his production came off those bubbles behind the LOS.
  2. He honestly may end up being the offensive MVP when all is said and done. Yes, Bryce would likely be viewed as such as a rookie QB, but I said Laviska should be used like Deebo last season... he is pure magic with the ball in his hands. He made YAC plays the likes of which I hadn't seen from a receiver since Steve Smith, and dare I say, he made even more of them in one season than even him based off the number of times he did them with such limited touches. I also said towards the end of last season that he was my favorite offensive player, and tbh, with all the upgrades we've made, we have plenty of candidates to take that mantle from Viska, but it ain't happening. He is going to be bananas this year, and if the league didn't know much about him before, they will this season. Just look at that avg from last season, again with a limited role and an incompetent staff he still had a 4 yard higher avg YAC than the guy best known for it in Deebo - that is RIDICULOUS.
  3. Ian has looked really bad the last few years. Very, very underwhelming, and I was super excited about his measurables and potential when we picked him in the draft, but man he has been beyond disappointing. But, honestly, with a lot of the guys I have trashed the last few years, I think this is the first actual season we can make a fair assessment of them because it's the first time they're actually getting NFL-level coaching. And I mean guys I have wrote off as complete garbage - even guys like CJ Henderson. I can't remember who it was In the offseason that did the interview where they said that basically guys weren't getting any developmental/ position-specific coaching under Rhule. So, I will give Ian yet another reprieve this year, especially being an offensive guy, I really think he has a chance to be used to his strengths and capitalize on finallly having a real NFL coaching staff.
  4. Yeah, I haven't been able to follow as intently with news from TC day to day this year as I have been able to in years' past, but I agree from what I've been seeing. I know they said Henderson is showing better for himself this TC, and from what I've read, it seems like Taylor is getting a lot of reps compared to previous years, so I'm interested to see how the CB depth chart is looking like right now, and I wonder if it's just that the offense is that good because Bryce has been so accurate and got up to speed so fast, or if the CBs are just that underwhelming?
  5. I'd be disappointed though, bc Johnson's potential is super exciting and I really liked the pick because of the size, the RAS and said potential... but I agree, if Jones and Leota turn into gems it won't really matter how Johnson pans out - and it sounds like both Jones and Leota are making a lot of noise that they weren't expected to.
  6. Jaycee looks even bigger this season, pause.
  7. The OL was already beasting with the lineup coming back from last year once whole again from the injuries - but the opportunity of developing Cade Mays and Zavala(sp?) In the meantime while our other guys heal? The OL went from complete ass to possibly the strongest unit we've ever had in roughly 2 years time?
  8. Damn... as a guy that didn't want Bryce going into the draft, I like to see that. It's a little chippy and edgy. I think Smitty has grown into his role as an analyst and has mellowed out a little bit, but I also like that you could see he recognized and respected Bryce took umbrage with the gesture and vocalized that lol.
  9. Great write up. But just to let you know, when I saw your blurb on Miles Sanders, but you called him "Saunders" I almost went into an PTSD Episode I couldn't pull myself out of. Rhule did so much irrepreable damage.
  10. Imagine trying to distribute the snap count on all those different backs depending on situation.
  11. And despite all of that, would still be one of the better bigs we have ever had wear a uniform since getting a team back.
  12. Now. I've been saying it for 2 years now.
  13. That has shifted my view a bit. If it's been provable that he was already on his way and didn't even know the gun was in his car, that goes a long way...
  14. I feel like this is a very fair assessment. It's kind of where I'm at... once the NBA rigged the lottery in favor of one of their storied franchises again and we ended up with the fuging shitty ass consolation prize ONCE AfugINGGAIN. From Okafor to MKG, I'm tired of the poo. And we go from a generational talent, possibly once in a lifetime player in VW, to oh, do you want one of these regular ass, coddled, AAU primadonna kids with huge holes in their game? So I once I knew we lost out in the #1 pick (again), I lost all interest. This is the least I watched, read, or listened to anything leading up to the draft. So, once I started hearing things involuntarily about the draft, and Miller came up, I was like, "Wait, isn't that the guy that was involved in that murder?" But, as a kid myself who was often judged by the company I kept, who made mistakes, who was viewed as a "punk," or a person from the wrong side of the tracks, I try to be objective about these things, but man... someone asking you to bring them their gun in a public place? Furthermore, discussing it afterwards and seemingly not aware of the gravity of the situation aside from "it almost ended my career." Nah bro, a young mother was killed, in part, because of your involvement, fug a career. So, once I started reading more about him as a player, him saying he looked up to Paul George over guys like LeBron and MJ, and I was just kind of over it. As far as the involvement with the crime, I think he had much more of an idea of what was going on than what the investigation showed. Again, as a guy that hung around places and people I shouldn't necessarily have been growing up, you tend to get a good read on what people are on - their disposition, their vibe, their intentions, etc. And again, if someone I already feel is kind of shady asks me to bring them their gun while they're out in public (which is ridiculous in the first place bc I wouldn't be toting someone else's gun anyway), then I already know some poo is happening whether they told me or not. So, at worst, he knew and was involved. At best, he is extremely naive and immature. I'm not really happy with either and feel like ultimately he is going to go the way of solid role player with a limited ceiling, like all of our other consolation #2 picks have been, if he doesn't end up having any off-court problems anyway. I'm more excited about Nick Smith, honestly.
  15. I disagree. Clete Blakeman deserves to die of syphilis.
  16. Still crazy with how obviously bad it was that the ownership let it continue for as long as it did.
  17. It's a damn shame the amount of talent wasted by Rhule and his dumbass staff. TMJ should've been playing all along when healthy. We saw the same thing with Laviska too. Even Foreman. Laviska, pound for pound, may be my favorite player on the roster, tbh... dude is just a fuging force and he honestly should be given as many touches as possible because he just makes plays.
  18. Crazy Ngakoue is only 28. Damn, seems like he's been around a long time now. I wouldn't have thought he was younger than Floyd.
  19. Omg, I called Rejzohn on the first page!!!! I knew he had traits we like, but I didn't think we would actually get him. Awesome!!!!
  20. I would love to get Rejzohn Wright from Oregon St, if he's available. Not sure what happened once he got to Oregon St., but followed him since Last Chance U. as much as I could and I think his size and athleticism fit Fitt's M.O.
  21. Damn. Welp. fug it. It was a good 3 picks, eh?
  22. Getting back in early for Washington just makes too much sense doesn't it?
  23. It fits the mold of what Fitt has been doing in the mid-late rounds since he took over and I love it. He gets guys who are freak athletes with size for their respective positions and because of their production, or lack thereof in college, they're considered projects. But, look at a guy like Barno last year. He was an absolute baller in the preseason, and under a competent coaching staff earlier in the year, he definitely would've gotten more looks... he finally started getting burn under Wilks and, again, looked very impressive - and that was as a rookie edge with a slight frame. The sky really is the limit with these type of guys... now imagine Johnson and Barno developing into their physical abilities under NFL coaching and having them rotating in and out as edge rushers with Burns, Luvu, etc. They're building something fierce. This might be my favorite pick so far. Yes, it's risky, but it's the 3rd round and dude has first round talent, that if realized, could be one of the big steals of the draft.
  24. I never really felt like Von or Ware were dirty. Von himself said he never tried to injure QBs because he respects the game and understands they are what drive the game, so he took pride in sacking them and doing it cleanly. Ware always struck me as a pretty classy player/person as well. The cheap shots on Cam that I mostly remember were from their bum ass, flash in the pan guys like Wolfe, Marshall, and rotational rushers. I have always respected Von as a player and a talent, but I can say that while also professing my absolute disdain and utter hatred for the Broncos as an organization, the NFL, Goodell, and his bitch ass henchmen known as officials. I can separate players I respect from that shitbag organization that stole a fuging Superbowl from us and still wish that organization to be a complete fuging hellhole for eternity. fug Denver. fug the NFL. fug the refs. fug the Broncos, and fug their fans. Oh, and fug artificial turf.
