    You can argue all you want that TX beat Bama ... but TX didn't beat GA. And yeah, Bama beat GA. They all have a claim. TX has the worst loss though. What a headache. I just don't see how you drop GA that far down in the rankings. I think TX and Bama get left out.

    I have no dog in the fight, but I think most of us forget that FSU still has their defense. And it's pretty good. The committee should just troll us all and put Ohio St in. One loss, wasn't allowed to play in their title game, and it'd make the TX/GA/Bama argument moot lol.

    This happened last year (?) with Mich and OSU. Since they're in the same "division" they can't both be in the title game. OSU lost just once but couldn't rematch with Michigan. Instead Iowa stumbled in. So OSU gets penalized for being in a grouping some dude just made up one night while sitting on the toilet.

    This. I mean, Ohio St lost just once. To the best team in the country. GA lost just once ... last game of the season (an "extra" game not even historically played), Bama lost just once, Texas lost just once. What is the criteria? FSU is in. They have zero losses. Michigan is in. Washington is in.

    I'm sure they'll have their regular back-up back. But yeah, it is what it is. Injuries happen. If Mich, Wash, Bama, GA, etc, lost their starter they'd still play the game.

    You HAVE to give a Power 5 undefeated team the CFP. You just have to. Sucks, but it is what it is. The only way they don't is if the network boss tells them not to. Mich/Wash/FSU ... and wow ... three teams to choose from for that fourth spot.
