  1. Either that, or he can lead us to the #1 overall pick in 2025. Some return on investment if you will.
  2. Rushing to fire people right now isn't going to fix anything. Tepper just needs to veto any trade that involves future draft choices and let these guys ride it out. If Frank doesn't give up play calling duties and coaches this team into oblivion, then clean house at the end of the year. New GM and coach.
  3. I was all for getting some hot shot OC to be our new head coach instead of Wilks. But in hindsight, Tepper would have looked way better if he just kept Wilks. Even if Wilks failed miserably this year, Tepper would have gotten the benefit of the doubt for going with the guy who actually got the team playing.
  4. Then the one time he tried to actively lose games (last year after firing Rhule), we actually started winning lmao Dude needs to do the George Costanza thing where he just does the opposite of whatever his impulses are.
  5. 10000% agree. I really hope we don't make that same mistake again.
  6. Doesn't surprise me. Reich's trademark in Indianapolis was starting a washed up veteran QB.
  7. I think we all would. I wanted CJ when I heard about the trade up, but I was bamboozled by all the hype around Bryce's ability to read the field etc. Other than Tepper selling the team to a good owner, there is nothing I would want more for this team than Bryce to be legit. But that doesn't change the reality of what we've seen so far.
  8. I know man. That's my biggest concern. Its completely okay for him to take shots and make mistakes as a rookie. But to lose confidence in his ability this fast is really alarming. He looks scared to make a mistake now, which is not what you want at any level of QB. It's about learning from mistakes to take better calculated risks with the ball, not eliminating risk entirely.
  9. You gotta be kidding me pulling this stat card like it means anything. It's not even bad for a rookie. Look at some of the throws made his rookie year. Its night and day. Here look at Tua's highlight reel. There's some real confidence in a lot of these throws. I hope Bryce turns it around, but some of you guys are just straight up in denial about what we've seen thus far.
  10. I just feel like I'm taking crazy pills at this point. It's a good throw, but this is a play that Taylor Heineke could make. What are we even talking about at this point?
  11. It's a good ball that should have been caught. But in the context of being THE impressive throw from the #1 overall pick... damn.
  12. As an aside, if the first two reads on a red zone play are TMJ and Thomas, that play is doomed.
  13. I have the game DVR'd and I re-watched the play at full speed. His footwork is absolutely too slow and it does appear to be there even at 100% speed. The ball does need to come out quick, but he's got to get his feet set quicker overall. Color commentator says "Bryce young has to get rid of this" on the replay.
  14. I'm not saying its ideal, but its there.
  15. He still had time to make that throw with proper footwork.
  16. He absolutely has not shown even a glimmer. If he had been selected #1 overall by a division rival, we would all be laughing our asses off right now.
  17. I would agree. He looks like his potential is Teddy..
  18. It’s wild we ditched Teddy to ultimately end up with Teddy. Time is a flat circle.
  19. Rhule is still responsible for everything. Tepper only publicly fired him to appease the fans, but he still rules as shadow GM. Reich was hired as a puppet coach and does the bidding of the all mighty Rhule from behind the scenes. Maybe one day Fitterer will finally be freed of the shackles and be able to be a good GM. Or maybe he just sucks.
  20. At this rate we might not make it to the bye week before it starts
