  1. I take it you havent watched Willis this year
  2. If NO lets him walk, which I seriously doubt, and if we got him on a reasonable deal I would be happy. But I doubt he is going to come here without an insane deal. https://whodatdish.com/2021/12/30/new-orleans-saints-terron-armstead-free-agency/ He is looking at a 4 year 95 million deal. Thats insane when we can simply draft one at 6
  3. I never bet against the Pitt franchise with Tomlin as coach.
  4. Legit LT rarely ever hit FA and if one was to this year then we would have to break the bank to get him here. For fugs sake I am going to say this until April, invest a high pick on a tackle for the first time in over a decade. Thats how you build nfl playoff lines
  5. I think without a shadow of a doubt we will be top 10 no matter who we pick at 6/7. Especially if Rhule is back as it appears. So that is why you take the tackle now and hope a couple of super qb prospects emerge for us to go get.
  6. Pitts last 10 drafts have an avg position of 20. With the high being 10. The rest are back there. Trading the 6 pick for a couple of mid to late round firsts would be some panther stupidity
  7. Thats not enough and Pitt tends to always pick mid late first The value of a top 10 (6ish) is very steep
  8. yep, its insanity to think we are going to make another bad trade to try and make up for the original bad trade. Both my brain and my gut are screaming at me that no team is going to give us fair value for pick 6/7. If it happens I can see Pitt moving up from the mid teens and giving us their 2nd and next years first. Thats not worth it IMO
  9. If a team is trading up to 6 or 7 the the chances are pretty high that team is choosing a qb.
  10. A developmental guy at 7 (or 6) would be colossally stupid. Its looking more and more like Darnold will be here with a rookie qb or not so might as well build the line instead of blowing a pick for a qb. Eff it roll darnold back out there to earn his money and get us a top 5 pick for 2022
  11. If we drafted Pickett at 7 then IMO this line will be as bad or worse next year. If we keep getting some other teams scraps for the line then we will just be spinning our wheels.
  12. We shouldnt "spend like crazy" if the goal is to be really good in 2024. Save the money for when its needed
  13. He would be on IR by midseason with this line
  14. Not drafting a LT for Cam in his entire career here is borderline criminal. Its insanity at its peak.
  15. Our defense isnt that good and what "excellent offensive weapons" are you referring to?
  16. I wasnt busting on you just trying to reinforce my desire to finally pick a tackle in the top 10 for once in a decade. And yes I have been screaming that we need to build the line organically through the draft so they can develop together.
  17. That was fuging embarrassing. I said it at the time and will say it now.
  18. Whats the common theme of all of those I listed? I will help you out, all were picked either in the top 10 or slightly out of it. The same pick we have had for 3 years now but refuse to pick a premium tackle/iol. My point is that high end talent doesnt take 3 years to develop. Someone like Brady C does not uber talented guys picked in the top 3rd of the first round. I dont understand if I can research and see this why cannot our supposed analytical front office see the same?
  19. Shows how valuable pick #7 is. And some posters want us to trade down. Its insanity
  20. Sewell, Slater, Wills, Wirfs,McGlinchey, Nelson all say hi!
  21. Its not that hard to predict if Rhule is the coach. We will be picking in the top10 again 100% guaranteed.
