    People will say there are still more games but the Panthers are clearly the better team. What will it say for Rod’s coaching legacy if we get swept a third time in the ECF? Seem like whenever we get to the ECF we face a team that can take advantage of all of our weaknesses and we can’t take advantage of any of theirs.

    I remember thinking that the last time we face the Panthers. We still got swept.

    I am completely surprised the refs let that one count. I mean it was an obvious deflection by the skate but the way reffing was happening in the first period I was not expecting that goal to count.

    Techinally it happened against the Devils but they had a worse goalie and team.

    That is that. Panthers are too good and the Bob is too much of a wall to come back. I don't see us catching up before it is 3-0 or something like that.

    I hope we get to the Stanley Cup, but if we lose I hope it is more competitive. I don't want another sweep.

    That is the thing. When their PP is working they are doing what you should on PP. Then for some reason they regress to this "waiting-for-the-perfect-shot" PP.

    Good thing is Caps usually can't keep this up all game and the second is when we usually start tiring them out.

    Yeah he definitely could have taken a better angle then the left side of the goal. He had plenty of time and space to angle it right.

    These color commentators are horrible. Caps scored a freak goal and the Canes are still constantly in the Caps zone, but no, the Caps are doing so well. Canes better win this.

    Commentators acting like that was some amazing goal. It was a freak goal off a wild puck.

    Currently in season 1 and if season 2 is even better like I have heard I am excited.

    I remember when this was supposed to be a down year. Now we are 2 wins away from the ECF.

    Canes were starting to get into their groove. Hope they can kill the penalty and get back to it.

    This felt so similar to the games after game one of the Devils series. Canes love making worrying playoff trends.

    When 3 of the 4 professional teams I follow suck it is easy to put all your emotional energy into one team.

    Well that’s that. At least we won one in Washington. But they need to wake up. You can’t have one good game and expect to coast by. Our PK has been worrying all night I had a feeling we would let them score on a PP.

    Well they at least attempted some shots. They were bad shots that had not chance but they were shots.

    Same thing is happening that happened in the Devils series is happening now. Great first game and then we come into game two looking flat and now we are struggling to get SOG. It is always something. Every playoffs it is always something.
