The ads from Mahomes / Kelce…. I mean this is nauseating

    I don't understand marketing companies.

Kelce and Mahomes are literally everywhere - the marketing companies have made people hate them. The same thing happened with Rodgers and P. Manning. They've oversaturated the market.

Their DL is STRONG so what does Reid do right out of the gates? Attack the boundaries. Then hits 'em right up the gut.

Reid really might be the greatest offensive coach ever.

It's easy to call plays when you've got Mahomes as your QB.

He's the best I've ever seen.

I know people will hate this but realistically Bryce should be given the 2024 AND 2025 seasons.

we all know this roster is a mess and it won’t be even close to competing next year but 2 off seasons and a true 1 round pick heading Bryce’s 3 year should be enough to see what we have. That will be a better roster, a full year with the coaching staff/scheme and a more complete roster than what we will have next year.

it would be idiotic to waste what little picks we have now on a QB who wouldn’t fare any better.

It would be idiotic to run it back with a QB just cos you spent the #1 overall pick on him when a 35 year old QB who the NFL thinks is washed (5 teams in 5 years) blew his performances out of the water in his 1 start.

Evero 2nd interview with the Seahawks.

If we lose him it's really going to hurt.

    I'm baffled by their process.

They strong armed a great coach out the door (admittedly he's 72) and didn't have someone immediately lined up to take over. I was sure they'd tampered with someone.

We don't need insurance and in truth, we can't really get "insurance".

We made the mistake of going for someone else when we cut Cam and signed Bridgewater.  Should have stuck with Cam and if he continued to struggle, then draft someone.

We need to stick with Bryce, and use our few draft picks to help build up the talent level.   If Bryce doesn't improve next year, then we draft someone in 2025.  This path has a far better chance of getting the Panthers moving forward than any other thing we might do.

This idea that our Plan B (when Young flames out) is 'gun to the head' "You must draft a QB in the first round of the 2025 Draft" is baffling.

Before the Panthers just throw Bryce Yong aside after playing his first year with a horrible team, they should fix the bad offensive line and get him wide receivers that can get open and catch the ball.

With the Panthers limited resources I don't see them being competive  for at least two more years, so in the meanwhile, like other bottom feeding teams, fans will just have to ride it out.

It wasn't a bad Oline in 2022 and they weren't bad receivers until they got here.

It's the Panthers that are pitching Evero.

Canales Is the head coach. He's got nothing to pitch.

He likely has an idea of someone else he'd want as a DC. Most head coaches to be have plans about their staff.

Canales is the Head Coach - it's his team.

Unless nothing has changed of course and someone else is making the staff hires...

One of Evero's selling points to Canales might arguably be how well his defense performed against Canales' offense during the last game of the season.

I don't think Evero is pitching himself to Canales, I think it's the other way round.

His influences are interesting. Leadership from years with Pete Carroll. Learned offense from the McVay tree ( Waldron being the connection ). It's a good mix.

Carroll passed him over twice for a promotion to OC. Interesting.

Yeah you eventually have to stop throwing QBs at the problem and praying it works out. Spend our assets on building an actual offense first. See if Young can develop and then make your decision on him this next offseason. If he is as bad as people are claiming on here then we should have a top pick in 25 to replace him.

I don't know if you've looked at the '25 QB Draft class, but it's not the year to want a QB.

And don't get me wrong @Ricky Spanish I get what You're saying, but you're essentially speaking in absolutes, like it's a sin to invest in a QB while you have a QB. I don't agree with that notion.

I think we need a veteran QB to steady the ship while we try to stop the bleeding.

Asking Nix / McCarthy / Penix to come in at 33 and start winning straight away is foolish.

There is no reason to spend even more draft capital or money on ANOTHER QB when we are not 1 QB away from being competitive.

We stick with Young one more year.

Also, I don't think he's as much of a lost cause as you seem to. His decision-making is not as bad as you say, he actually learned throughout the season (Case in point the 2nd Falcons game where he bated Bates on numerous throws so he wouldn't get picked again) and his escapability got better as the season went on and he got used to the game speed of the NFL. The line played like crap, receivers played like crap, the scheme was crap, no one looked good.

It's a big fat N/A for damn near everyone on offense, but no, the backup plan should be the backup QB, which is Dalton, who is a damn good backup and we don't need to waste more assets on another.

If Young shows no improvement next season then we move on and draft a new QB in 2025.

We scored 0 points in the final 2 games. How did he learn and improve again?

I've never known such a poor player get so much support.

Really disappointed the Panthers never tried to go after Harbaugh either of the last 2 years.

Last year, yes. He was practically begging for the job.

This year we had zero chance. He knows better than to hitch his wagon to Bryce Young.

Pretty sure they were tired of the back and forth. The extension they were set to offer was going to include a "no NFL" clause for at least a year or two.

That's all over now of course, and it didn't end in their favor.

They won a National Championship - it worked out great for them.
