  1. 10-3 hole already. Time for our #1 pick and our #8 pick to step forward and do something.
  2. Not going to send TMac to the gallows after a handful of games into his career after all the excuses we've made for a guy 35 games into his career. Hopefully he'll bounce back.
  3. Defense held them to 3. Now it's time for the offense to reward them.
  4. IMO for one to believe he had no part and wanted no part in drafting him it would require to ignore basic common sense. And Morgan is someone who is very in tune with David Tepper. We don't need to fool ourselves into some kind of delusion that Dan Morgan is fully a renegade in the front office. He like Scott Fitterer has always been in constant communication with Tepper and obviously he and his wife are still pulling strings in some capacity. So in a sense it might sound crude but it's not meant to be. If we are being blunt. Morgan is essentially a yes man. It is what it is.
  5. Well we know why he rolls out. But with 34 games worth of tape out there for defenses to chew on it's not fooling anyone anymore. They expect it and react accordingly. And lately whenever he immediately bails from the pocket it just ends up with him putting the ball on the ground. If he struggles to protect the football again in a game with sloppy weather conditions they need to do what's best for the team.
  6. The optimist in me says he can't be much worse than some of the other turnstiles we've started at tackle over the years. But the pessimist says expect pain. Either way I have low expectations for our passing offense.
  7. The huddle has been calling for people of all walks of life to be fired for over 2 decades now. Dying on a hill for David Newton of all people is just embarrassingly tacky. Please stop. Thanks.
  8. Moton being out certainly hurts but the hit dog mentality is tiring. Guys on other teams get hurt too. We're at home. If this team is ever going to emerge as any kind of contender they need to overcome adversity.
  9. Honestly. The fact that David Newton is paid any amount of money to be a "journalist" is a black eye for all of civilization.
  10. I agree he is terrible and the team needs a better beat reporter. But I don't see anything happening. Maybe when the Panthers finally start contending again we'll finally get someone else.
  11. It was unintentional but there's no reason David Newton can't do a little basic research beforehand on who he's interviewing. And XL is now in his second season so it's even more inexcusable.

  13. $315.8 million in career earnings. He doesn't need the money anyways.
  14. Ordinarily I would say a potentially messy weather game at home for a team with an opportunistic defense and a stout backfield should be a close game. But the problem is our QB beyond his lack of physical tools and poor footwork has been very panicky when the pocket collapses. We'll see.
  15. What does Brooks have to do with Skattebo? He has 9 career NFL carries and won't increase that number until at least next year. Besides Skattebo was a 4th round pick. And the folks who want to carry water do know the whole purpose of drafting an RB high is to get immediate production while on their rookie deal yes?
  16. The Eagles can be an enigma at times but by the end of the season as long as they're in the playoff hunt they'll be tough to beat.
  17. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/4402432/2023/04/14/panthers-nfl-draft-samir-suleiman/ I like him but let's keep things in perspective and take things slow. There's a lot of football left to play.
