There have been Super Bowls where someone could say a single play might have lost the game. But "the fumble" in SB50 is not even remotely an example of such an instance. It's knuckledragger mentality to suggest so. I would argue the team seemingly getting caught up in the limelight of the week leading up to the game itself and the glaring stubborn lack of adjustments doomed the 2015 Panthers. The league itself and the refs also clearly did not want the Panthers winning either. People just have to reconcile with that and the result. It's been a decade now.

I show up to the huddle on a cold dreary Tuesday morning and this is what I find. From our own damn fans. We had the opportunity to take control of that game late into the fourth quarter. I mean for all the talent we had on the team. Kony fưcking Ealy was in position to possibly become the MVP of the game on our end if we had managed to regain control. That is despite the franchise cornerstone players we had on the roster at the time. If that doesn't tell you that it was undoubtedly a collective loss on both the players AND the staff I don't know what will. Have a good day ya'll.

It is. And it is crazy that all these Bryce Young apologists who were talking all kinds of shīt in the Stroud thread that stayed at the top of the first page here for over a week have absolutely no input about the recent PFF article and data on the previous page. It's almost like they're just flakes who only want to spout off when things fit their narrative.

Surprise! Wait… Surprise Again! Kon Looks Really Good!

I assume the court color scheme is just the NBA norm of experimenting for the sake of switching it up. But yeah the Hornets have a great color combo and if they can actually be competitive again you'll see a lot more of their gear around the country. Here's to hoping. -

The core group of young guys are the most promising we've seen in many years. In particular Brandon Miller has definitely been stepping up into the much needed role we've expected. Great to see. Sexton bounced back in a big way from a really awful game against the Mavs too. Credit where it's due. The unis and court are a nice experimental combo although not the easiest on the eyes. Just glad they are finally back to consistent winning basketball. -
6 yards per attempt after 3 seasons. For historical reference.

REPORT: Cade Mays will hit the free-agent market

Oh man I almost forgot about the Cowboys angle. They were going to take him and we swooped in and got them good (lol). Same rationale was made when we drafted TMJ except we stole him from the Saints. Epic cringe. -
He hasn't lasted at any team he's been with going back to the Cardinals. I like him as a person but as a coach it is what it is brosef.

Flagg is most likely the ROTY but I'm just ecstatic we have one of the best two players from the draft. The young core is very nice. -

Also personally had numerous contentious debates here about Fitterer from people who liked him a lot which largely resulted in a response of some variation of "you're a fan you think you know better?" We see how that worked out. -

People loved Dave Gettleman. Man even had his own catchphrase. -

Sounds like the same kind of shoe shining and letting off the hook that folks did for Scott Fitterer. Been there done that. We won't get the lucky breaks we did last year with this years upcoming schedule. This years draft needs to be a homerun. Don't get cute. Good luck. -

How to blow a lead for dummies in the second quarter. Pressing and poor shot selection. -

The Panthers haven't drafted a center in the first two rounds since Ryan Kalil. Had one there waiting to solidify our OL and we traded up to take an RB with a torn ACL. The only people still rationalizing it are the Panthers FO or their family members I guess. -

LaMelo and especially Kon and Miller have been handling business. Even Bridges has been more consistent as of late. Hornets bench needs to get it together though. Too much ugly basketball. -
I hate this argument because it just casually glosses over the fact that many people here on the huddle argued Cam would struggle with the playbook and wouldn't even do much his rookie year because he was regarded as a project. Whereas Bryce Young was afforded every benefit of the doubt before and immediately following the draft. Comparisons to hall of fame athletes across different sports etc. And the flip side of this is we have no idea just how good any of these receivers could be because we have never seen them with another QB who could raise anyone's ceiling. Everything has to go perfect across the board for us to even move the ball more often than not.

Meanwhile we're over here holding onto Andy Dalton and his zero career playoff wins like our team culture depends on it.

Maybe needs it's own thread at this point.

Probably just something with their HTML coding. But anyways. I do like us finally drafting a Center. If it lands that way and we take the best one available I'll accept it as progress. -

For some reason that link takes you to 2021. For reference these should work. https://www.drafttek.com/m/2026-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp https://www.drafttek.com/m/2026-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round2.asp -
Looks like PFF finally took the gloves off. "Young finished as the Weeks 1-17 QB19 in his 2025, third NFL season, underwhelmingly marking a career-best season-long fantasy football finish. His full-season 71.5 PFF offense grade is just the second-best among his three NFL seasons. After improving his passing play in 2024, Young worryingly reverted to his rookie season form in multiple categories." "Young’s stable rushing metrics are also notably decreasing, resulting in his yards per rushing attempt average declining from 6.5 to 5.8 to 4.2. After averaging 0.38 missed tackles forced and 4.0 yards after contact per rushing attempt as a rookie, Young’s respective per-play averages decreased to 0.16 and 2.3 in 2024 to 0.11 and 2.0 this season. Young, 24, is firmly on the hot seat entering the 2026 offseason and could oneday fimself as another team’s reclamation project."

Right and RB's now are a dime a dozen you draft them in the later rounds. Not to mention all the money we put into two FA guard signings $153 million. With that much investment in the interior OL you shouldn't need a 2nd round running back anyways let alone one that is already injured. It's wild anyone with a functioning brain is still trying to justify it. -

I can agree that relying on things beyond our control when we had the capacity to firmly establish our own hold on the division at a time when the division has been at it's lowest point in many years is mediocrity at absolute best. And a small group of people trying to awkwardly use the opportunity to dunk on anyone applying legitimate realistic skepticism of the circumstances is borderline cult like. Overall there seems to be an even split of glass half full glass half empty sentiment within the fanbase. I'm teetering between both until I see how we navigate the draft and FA. If we land a solid draft class and solid FA class and actually strengthen the QB room I'll be quite optimistic of our outlook going forward. But as any long time fan of this this franchise knows full well seeing is indeed believing. No benefit of the doubt for anyone involved has been earned yet. -
