Because he’s an edge rusher. He is really meant for a 3-4 scheme. We run a 4-3. Our front 4 consists of Burns as a Will 5-tech, a 1-tech, a 3 tech, and a Sam 5 tech which is usually YGM or Fox and is more of a run stopping end. Our LBs are usually Carter at Mike, Thompson at Sam and Reddick at Will to cover the flats and rush. Sometimes Snow changes up whose will and Sam but this is the basic principle of the defense. Luvu gives Reddick plays off or when he brings in a pass rush package he swaps out the Sam DE with Luvu. This is usually when you see the edges in that funky ass 2pt stance.
