Yeah he's like Stroud with a less impressive arm. Jones on this Bama team would have looked horrible, probably same for Stroud.

Seems like Stroud is good at hitting all the throwing nets, can probably get the ball in the trash cans at the pro days or whatever they do, but that's like 1/3rd of the job for a franchise QB. I really don't love the top 10 of this draft class in general. Immediate impact would be Anderson, Carter, RIngo, maybe one of the WR's, and maybe that TE Mayer but I'm not totally sold he'll translate

Any thought to getting a vet QB, seeing what Corral has, and grabbing Hooker/Ward/McCall/Penix on day 2 or 3? I like Bryce but his ceiling might be a PJ that doesn't turn the ball over. I like Richardson but it's so hard to evaluate him being surrounded by a horrible team, bad WR's, D sucked, possibly injured because they wouldn't let him run, tons of upside and he looked like the only NFL player on his team but big gamble for a guy that needs to sit for a year

Young reminds me of PJ but he throws less picks at the college level? Actually PJ probably has a better arm but the td/int ratio is a thing. At best I think he's Brees who needed an offensive coach and legit weapons to succeed

Yeah 5-10 more pounds and he's fine. Just not much burst on his scrambles, that's the main thing I question. Crazy as it sounds if he could scramble/run like Darnold i'd be totally sold

Richardson, Levis, Hooker all played Georgia. Stroud's toughest games this year were Notre Dame and Penn State so far. Michigan tmrw and the playoffs will be the true test.

Richardson for me is right there in the Cam/Fields area which I like overall. Sometimes lazy accuracy throws, but then throws that not many guys can make, if everyone else is having a bad day they'll get the first downs with their legs. I'm surprised how conservative the Florida play calling has been the last two weeks, maybe because they're out of the playoffs they want to keep AR healthy and lower his draft stock so he'll return to school next year? If it was a legit game he woulda ran hard at least 10 more times

My thing with Levis is he doesn't even have those kinda throws on film whether his WR's catch them or not. Richardson has at least 1 wow throw a game, sometimes caught, sometimes not

That one the WR dropped when he got sandwiched would have been an ESPN top 10 play if it took the game to OT. Steve Smith special right there

yeah I can see that, not wanting to do the wrong thing by scrambling and being out of position so the coach doesn't yell at them. It's like being super stiff on your first job until you get a comfortable

We'll see if Stroud can scramble or face any adversity in general. He's had an easy schedule

Also not sure why that WR just stood on the side of the end zone with his hands on his hips when AR was scrambling to chuck one up 5 yards from where he was standing

Not to mention the facemask that Richardson shook to even get something off. Overall nice effort from AR on that last drive with no WR's stepping up
