Elf shotgun snapping this one into Bakers knees, I think Baker got blamed for it -

His natural instinct is to bail and throw on the run so it should work more in his favor. He's always better in play action and the Browns knew even though their interior D isn't great forcing him into being a pocket passer exposes his weaknesses. McAdoo should have known that as well and had some less vanilla plays ready. For having 5 Waffle House menus worth of play calls I wasn't that impressed with what he chose to run -
Anyone that wants a Giants film breakdown similar to the Panthers offensive breakdown, this is both sides of the ball and pretty thorough Henry is a lot different than CMC, but I think running outside and maybe some two RB RPO's with CMC running a quick route could carve through some of these Defensive looks

They stuffed Derrick Henry up the middle all game long for a total of 83 yards. It's a new 3-4ish scheme and only the DT's and ILB's are pretty good. CMC has to get to the edge or leak through for some YAC check downs. WR's should be open all day if Baker has time -

Yeah their secondary is Xavier Mckinney at safety and then a bunch of back ups. ILB's are whatever, 3-4 interior guys will get pressure on our IOL but otherwise no reason we can't get CMC/Baker moving around in the backfield. Winks scheme is designed for man coverage and they don't have the secondary guys to do it -

No starting DE's will give Baker/CMC a chance to move around. That interior pressure is gonna come pretty quick vs Their DT's compared to the Browns -

Yeah he had 10 sacks last year, beat a few guys with that move. -

Azeez Ojulari is their other edge guys that's been out. Kayvon with an MCL and Azeez with a calf injury, both are risky to rush out there without taking really any practice reps this week. -
Does 0-2 put Rhule’s seat red hot?

All people have to do is not renew their PSL's next year right? People aren't obligated to renew, they just lose their seats? I wonder how many PSL tickets are sold to opposing fans on a weekly basis -

This Titans thread has a lot of good looks at what Wink is trying to do with the Giants D in the passing game. They try some cute stuff that CMC could easily exploit if McAdoo can game plan for it. Theres a couple dozen more clips in the thread -
Giants: The Previous Game is Under Review

I skimmed the game and it's still strange to see the Giants running a lot of 3-4, but it looks different with Wink running it. The interior rush looks solid so I think Elf and guards will have a tougher game than last week, but Ikem and Moton should be able to hold up a lot better on the edges. Wink's scheme also relies on man coverage and the Giants CB's room isn't really built for that. So yes I agree with OP, attack the CB's, get CMC outside, Baker scrambling right like he likes to do might actually work a little bit better against this D than CLE. Very different D than last week outside of both of them having not great CB's -
With this guy if he gets a winning coach/team he'll be back to dancing around the field like an asshole. As far as Saleh goes, he probably won't get 7 Jay Z years in the Jets building so not sure if he'll make it, but I'd much rather listen to his pressers and locker room speeches over Rhule at the very least.

Sounds like we basically have to try the same game plan as last week, try to carve up their CB's. Their pass rush will be different than CLE, better interior pressure but the edge rushers are still a question mark. Could be average backups or could be Kayvon's first game starting if healthy. CMC is a totally different back than Henry so if they get creative with him and don't run him up the middle over and over again he might be able to do something

The general power rankings should. Obvious to everyone else No. 31: Carolina Panthers The Panthers looked just as expected in Week 1. It just isn't a very good team. 32 - Carolina Panthers (LW: 31) - Anyone out there thinking that Matt Rhule, Ben McAdoo, and Baker Mayfield will find a way to thrive? Does anyone really believe that? The Panthers are doomed. -
That draft wasn't very good after Herbert, Lamb at WR and then a bunch of average so far
-
Oh yeah he's hurt. Looks bad throwing on the side
-
Either ribs or knocked the wind out
-
Uh OH
-
Obviously should have ran one or twice in the red zone. That pick was on first down I think?
-
Yeah they got a good team but that was a bad call and lazy throw/route
-
These good teams sure do spread the ball out to all their offensive weapons
