  1. That's dumb, the only reason to trade for a guy like that is to have him for 10 years
  2. They were always contending. We're in a lame duck year with Rhule, why give him an extra $5M from our 2023 cap space to gamble with this year? Just short changes the next HC's free agency if Rhule gets fired
  3. Especially with the Packers just losing Adams, Robby had some trade value as it was. I can't believe Robby's little camp holdout turned into a $22M 2023 cap hit. Now it's a $9M dead cap if we cut him next year instead of $3M. Not sure it's worth it for an extra $5M to spend in a lame duck year
  4. Looks like they didn't add void years but I think next years cap hit for Robby went up. It's now saying his 23 hit is almost $22M, I hope thats a typo https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/carolina-panthers/
  5. Can't read the article, but would be no surprise. Why would Mariota/Jimmy G/whoever feel different than these guys? They also offered Cam already according to PNP and he's out talking to Seattle. They have no choice but to draft a guy eventually
  6. We almost beat the Chiefs w our poo staff and we're trending slightly better already so it's still any given Sunday.
  7. True about the people that actually said they'd stop rooting. It'll be interesting to see how the Falcons if they land Watson, deal with a whole season of PR with not only the upcoming Watson civil cases and probable suspension, but also blindsiding their clean cut veteran QB of 13 years or whatever. Probably hoping no one will remember in 5 years if they're actually good
  8. I get that but you can hate Rhule and Tepper who will eventually go away and still be a fan of the team. The team will outlast either of them unless they sell and move to another city
  9. The teenage Watson fan bots sure did drop off the face of the earth rather quickly, that's a blessing
  10. They did it not in a great way, but it was a new staff, during Covid, with an injured QB who they couldn't even meet with in person due to Covid...A lot different than Baker or Matt finding out on Twitter that they're on the trade block out of nowhere
  11. I believe they wouldn't drop any names until the NTC was waived to avoid internal turmoil but I'm assuming they said "1-3 players" in the offer
  12. Saints and Falcons boards aren't excited either. Saints fans wanna just get Winston back and Falcons fans are like with what money and players are we still not shitty?
  13. I'd love for the Saints to back out tmrw only for the Falcons to not find a trade partner for Ryan, leaving Watson sitting in Houston for another year
  14. Rhule must feel great knowing he had the best offer and Watson was willing to cause an additional QB PR havoc in Atlanta aside from his sexual predator stuff to play for a worse roster with less cap space.
  15. I mean we don't really have to do anything besides keep signing some FA's and think about the draft. Saints gotta make some quick decisions that could take them out of the running cap wise
  16. So if/when the Falcons make this move they gotta do PR on the sexual predator poo, and on blindsiding their loyal veteran QB. And then they'll have a shitty team with no draft picks or cap space
  17. Matt's wife liked this post, either way the Falcons and Browns are getting new QB's one way or another
  18. Estranged, Don't Cry, Civil War, Get In The Ring, Live and Let Die (Mccartney)...plenty more
  19. Maybe some truth to this, the more teams the better for the Texans. They could also stalemate if it comes down to 2 and one of the two teams could just give up. Then Watson could not waive his NTC for the one team left haha. ugh
  20. I mean Mike Williams got $20M a year and he has better stats but didn't really blow me away on my fantasy roster. The Panthers will of course not trade him, let him walk for nothing like they have numerous other players for no reason
