Official Week 15: Panthers @ Saints Gameday Thread
mrBdawg replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why are we leaving the middle of the field open on 3rd and long? It’s happened over and over. To the same fuging player. How is evero not catching on and fuging dropping into the middle and playing the sticks. -

The ball was in the air a while. A big strong receiver can feel the defender and use his size and strength to win the space and catch the ball. You put yourself between the defender and the ball. He tried to catch it like there was no defender there. I don’t think he thought the defender was gonna be there to make the play -

They really can both be true. Throwing a good pass was the easier play to make between the two. I just have higher expectation for Tmac than Bryce and would love to see him make those physical contested catches as a 220 lb 6’5 receiver. -

It makes it hard but that’s what receivers like McMillan are for. Big strong possession receivers make those kind of contested catches. -

??? It was in his hands pinned to his body. You have strong hands. You think that was an impossible catch? -

It’s on both, a 6’5 top 10 pick WR needs to make some tough catches -

Sir it is 7-7 -
Alarming is anyone who thinks Bryce is a checkdown artist bc he is absolutely not and I’m not sure what sport you be watching
-
There’s nothing weird about watching HS football. I’m just 10 years removed from it and I remember the excitement. It’s about as pure as football gets, playing for the love of the game.
-
I have absolutely no idea wtf he was doing with his hands on that deep ball. He must have misjudged the ball. His route running actually looked pretty damn good tho
-
What the fug is their deal with AJ Terrell? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a corner get picked on by refs like this. They’re just calling anything on him, over and over. It’s actually bizarre
-
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game where the refs just call pass interference over and over and over the way they are. And several have been ticky tacky
-
I mean yeah that’s a fact. Truly awful starts all 3 seasons. But he’s really shown some good stuff since the first few weeks. He’s also shown some bad. One thing I’ve really liked is he’s majorly improved his deep accuracy lately. I’ve really enjoyed seeing the vertical downfield pass return. It would definitely be a miracle for him to string together 4 good games in a row. That would really surprise me.

What makes you say those things about Kyler? What makes you believe Kyler sees the field better? His decision making? Where are you getting that? It’s just your opinion? Is it emotion based? Kyler has played awful this year. I’ve watched nearly every Cardinals game due to where I’m located for work. He’s been complete garbage this year. There’s a reason he got benched, it’s because he has some good weapons and a good scheme and could do NOTHING with it. Brissett has played far better in that offense. Bryce is pretty obviously the better quarterback at this point in their careers. You won’t find many to back you up on your stance outside of this website.
-
Wait why are we judging rookie Bryce vs them and not current Bryce I don’t understand fr. Rookie Bryce is indeed up there with the great Jim Clausen but tbf was also on the worst offense ever
-
Hehehehe you will never know
-
Every single team. Maybe not the Bills. MAYBE

Kyle Allen threw 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2019. Taylor Heinicke played 1 game for us and threw for 320 yards on 60 attempts, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. Matt Moore threw 5 touchdowns and 10 picks on 55% in 2010 when he won the starting job. You really think those are better stats, be honest?

Sorry baby that was for a @CRA post under yours got the wrong post plz forgive
-
You’re so obsessed that’s all you read. Get off his nuts
-
You are such a miserable weirdo

Lol yeah true sling kinda implies the wrong thing, but the title was kinda meant to bait the extreme Bryce haters
-
Bryce is a dot thrower and not really a dart thrower. He throws some dorts here and there when he zips it. I’ve seen him sling a couple darts in his career, but it’s rare. He can never throw a laser though. Cam was a true laser thrower.

I think most are agreeing. Even here. Pat McAfee, Kay Adams, Drew Brees, Reddit, whatever media you consume. Even Chris Simms the Bryce hater himself. Everyone’s all kinda glazing Bryce and those throws. Honestly a little too much imo. But I do think it is the consensus.
