  1. If that's the case we'll happily take another 2nd rounder off your hands in a few years. Get ahead of the market and grab your Zach Wilson Panthers jersey NOW.
  2. Human nature. Hard for some people to deal with points of view that aren't aligned to their own notions and ideas.
  3. As someone who doesn't follow the Panther's a lot. Are any of the inactives significant?
  4. You guys are in for a treat if you follow the JetNation thread.
  5. Do you put everyone on ignore who tells you things you don't want to hear?
  6. Cole was just downgraded as well, so Jets/Wilson will potentially be down 2 starting WRs. Shaping up to be an uphill battle for my Jets.
  7. The OL really is the key. If he can be protected and has confidence in the line he should be ok. He may not be a world beater, all-pro, but he'll be good enough manage the games.
  8. Sam never lacked an awareness on what to say to the media. He always said the right things. Part of his character to shoulder the blame and not throw anyone under the bus when he very easily could have.
  9. It really began during his USC days.
  10. Don't know much about the individual players on your Oline, but protecting Sam really needs to be the focal point, which I'm sure is an extremely obvious talking point, but its vital. Give him a little bit of time and he should be ok. If he has an Oline like he did in 2019 & 2020.......whooooaaa nelly. Not many QBs can perform well in that scenario.
  11. Looking at a couple early offensive line rankings and the Panthers have been around 29/30. I know its early and rankings mean nothing, but certainly not out of the realm of possibility as the Jets ended last year at #29 on PFF. Might end up being a push haha!
  12. I agree. Not sure how much of an "advantage" that particular matchup will be. It's mostly based off historical performance of rookie CBs vs anything Davis has really done. While the stats are informative, you know what they say about historical performance not being a good indicator of future results.
  13. Barring any setbacks I think Becton should be cleared come game time.
  14. Definitely. Last I looked you guys are 4.5-5.5 pt favorites in Vegas, so overall the matchup favors you guys.
  15. The X factor guys, Michael Nania and Robby Sabo, do a pretty good job providing sober analyses. They cover the good and the bad. Definitely not the typical homerish fanboys. They are largely data driven and backup it up with objective metrics and statistics. They've put together some very useful and interesting content for us Jets fans in the relatively short time they've been around.
  16. If you think about it, it make a lot of sense there is no mention of CMC in an article listing potential matchup advantages for the Jets. CMC is clearly a mismatch favoring you guys.
  17. This is a very generous observation. It was a very big issue Sam's first three years. Sammy's below the waist technique was worse in year 3 than it was in year one. Any halfway decent and capable coach should be able to improve it considering Gase et. all didn't know their a$$ from the their elbow.
  18. Could be Moore's NFL coming out party. By all accounts kid looked absolutely electric during camp. Will mostly be working out of the slot so will be interesting to see if you guys match him up with Horn. I'd think they would want to keep him on the outside and deal with Davis/Mimms/Cole. Generally speaking it would be a bit of a surprise to see a CB taken in the top 10 be used to cover slot guys, but it is his first game so maybe the coaches will want to ease him into it.
  19. Preseason and second team defense aside, Ruhle has done a good job game planning for Sam. Quick, short routes and reads, getting the ball out of his hands quickly. Exactly the strategy needed to ensure Sam doesnt get into his own head.
