  1. From Canes FB page:

NEW YORK, NY. - The Carolina Hurricanes will be sticking with their same lineup from their Game 5 victory, carrying it into tonight's potential series-closing contest at Madison Square Garden.

As far as tonight's game being on the road, and the Canes having an 0-6 record away from PNC Arena thus far this postseason, Rod Brind'Amour didn't see the need for that to be the reason for any changes to his crew.

"It's totally irrelevant going into this game. What's done is done," the head coach said. "We're starting here fresh and we want to win tonight."

Antti Raanta is expected to make his 12th start of the postseason, posting a .931 save percentage thus far against Boston and New York. Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov rotated at the other end of the ice, but Brind'Amour wouldn't commit one way or the other to the All-Star netminder backing up this evening.

Jordan Martinook will remain in in place of Steven Lorentz, an alteration that first occured for Thursday's Game 5.

Carolina's projected lineup for tonight's 8 p.m. puck drop is:

    Forwards:

    Teravainen - Aho - Jarvis

    Svechnikov - Trocheck - Necas

    Niederreiter - Staal - Fast

    Martinook - Kotkaniemi - Domi

    Defensemen:

    Slavin - DeAngelo

    Skjei - Pesce

    Smith - Cole

    Starting Goalie:

    Raanta

    Injuries:

    Frederik Andersen

    Scratches:

    Ethan Bear

    Steven Lorentz

    Derek Stepan

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I believe that Carolina CAN get over the hump and finally win an away game.
I just hope that the negativity of knowing that you haven’t won an away game, and these guys are definitely aware, doesn’t  affect them Saturday.
Just need to tell the team that keeps subbing in when we cross the state line they are no longer needed.

Speaking of negativity  @TrevorLaurenceTime22   I can’t tell Matt NC FL is making a positive reference or being small pen energy again.

This will be the last time I respond to you. It is normal for a fan to nitpick and be critical of their team.

You don’t like it, well, you can lump it.

I have already ignored both you and TLT22, so now I no longer have to see yours and his asinine comments

Good day, it has been a severe displeasure

This is either Matt or NC FL or both. That guy just can’t stand when people are happy. Dude I knew walks into a room and just sucks the fun out of it.  #funsucker this will be forever your gif

    what do you think @TrevorLaurenceTime22
