Apparently his wife really wanted to come here. She’s been posting about it on social media. On her Instagram story yesterday she said she had been trying to convince him to move back here for the past 2 years.

Stop bullshitting with the offensive line ffs. We are going to have 60+ million in cap space. Lock down Armstead for 4 years if he hits the market. (which he should) 3 to 4 years is plenty of time to develop his replacement as long as we don’t continue to neglect the position. Use our first rounder on the best Center available to us in the draft and this line will be looking like a top 10 unit in the league.

Idk but that’s why I was saying if we want an immediate plug and play stud at LT finally, the only option in FA is Armstead. We have the cap space to outbid everyone. It’s time to finally stop neglecting the most important position in football outside of QB.

Only top tier LT that I can’t think that will be a free agent is Armstead mainly because the Saints have zero cap space and have a giant ? at quarterback. Winston is a FA as well if I remember correctly. Orlando Brown is the only other guy I can think of but I doubt the Chiefs traded what they did for him as a one year rental. Who else is a plug and play starter that will be a free agent?

Hubbard showed last week he can be a solid contributor. Let Cmc be active but limit his load. No need for him to have 30 touches. Just having him active means the Eagles have to game plan for him which works to our advantage.

I’m all in on Terron Armstead. Just please for once can we finally end the damn “Can he play LT?” meme. Hopefully Reddick isn’t too expensive since even after a 12 sack season he still signed with us on a relatively cheap one year deal. You would think he would have had multiple high dollar multi year offers this past offseason. Either way LT has to be our number one FA priority. Can’t keep ignoring the line any longer.

I'd like to see Kenny Robinson get some burn at FS. He looked pretty good in the pre season.

Much rather just outbid everyone for Terron Armstead in the offseason and not have to give up any assets.

He should just be moved to linebacker. He looked absolutely lost in coverage.

No chance he makes it to us through waivers. Would be a welcome addition though.

We need to do everything we can to sign Terron Armstead away from the Saints. I just don’t see how they will have the money to keep him. There are no other legit LTs worth throwing money at. We can’t keep ignoring the position and we have the cap space to sign him to a monster contract. He will probably be the most coveted FA of 22 if he hits the market. 4 years 100 million idgaf. Use our first rounder on the best center in the draft since there really aren’t any decent free agent centers coming up except for Kelce who will be 33 or 34. If we can keep grooming Brady and Deonte to be our guards of the future our line will be looking very much improved and maybe not a complete liability for once.

I guess just add it to the list of why our offensive line sucks because I rarely ever see them do that kind of stuff.

1:00 is the LT allowed to lift up a defender from under his shoulder pads? 9:20 both LT and LG push two Panther defenders in the back to spring Elliott free for what would have been a tackle for a loss. Very next play RT pushes Reddick down from behind allowing Zeke to run by for a first down. You can see Reddick throw his hands up in frustration. Next play Cooper pushes off Henderson causing him to stumble and fall right before the catch.

Nothing was funnier than when they poo on Luke Kuechly all year only for him to go on and win DPOY that season.

I don’t mind losing but I hate getting fuged by the refs. You could have negated 50+ of their rushing yard by just calling even 20% of their offensive holds. We also recorded zero sacks because if we got remotely close to Dak one of their lineman would illegally take our defenders out of the play. The blown fumble call was all you needed to see to know the outcome of the game and that is horseshit.

Refs call it that way one the field when they know it’s a blatant missed call so the opposition literally can’t do anything about it. It’s such a dogshit rule. It is the main reason why the NFL got rid of being able to review pass interference calls after trying it for one season. The refs never overturned anything and it was a total disaster. Instead of the NFL acknowledging the glaring issue, the turned a blind eye and waited for everyone to forget about it. They realized it was one less way for them to influence the flow/outcome of games.

One thing that kind of annoyed me was that our offensive line didn’t even attempt to try and play dirty like Dallas did. I don’t know if it’s an indictment of just how bad our line is or what, but at some point you’d think one of our guys would have seen all the holds they were getting away with and thought hmm, maybe we should try that and see what happens. If you get hit with a holding call fine, you see how the refs are going to call it but I don’t think we got called for a holding until the third quarter and our guys were getting abused all game. I mean ffs, I recall one play where Tyron Smith literally lifted Reddick off his feet from under his shoulder pads. We need at least one guy on this line with some sort of nasty steak to him.

We have the wealthiest owner in the league. Tepper and Rhule need to put these bum ass officials on blast. fug the fines. I don't want another case of Rivera never defending Cam when he was getting blasted in the head every game and Rivera would some how make it seem like it was Cam's fault. Someone needs to grow a pair and tell these zebra's to pull their heads out of their asses and get their eyes checks, or better yet, read the fuging rule book.

Zero, zilch, nada. No holding, no hands to the face, no false starts, nothing. It was pretty clear to Dallas through the first quarter that the refs were going to let them get away with anything they wanted. We were obviously screwed when Chinn clobbered Schultz and caused him to fumble 5 ft from the ref and somehow they didn't see the ball flopping around down by his knees. Going back and watching the highlights, on almost every one of Dak's scrambles and Zeke's big runs, at least one of our defensive linemen were getting absolutely mugged. I hate complaining about the officiating after a loss but it was pretty clear the fix was in a quarter into the game. Also doesn't it seem kind of strange that Dallas held the league leaders in sacks to a goose egg without committing a single penalty? fug the NFL.

Well at least this post made me remember that CJ Anderson was a Panther at one point.

Perryman and Arnold were both stop gap acquisitions. Carter Jr. beat him out in camp mainly due to the fact that Perryman couldn't even make it onto the field. While Carter's stats may not look impressive, he is one of many reasons Shaq is playing at the level he is. Carter may not be the most athletic linebacker but he is a very smart player and is rarely out of position. Shaq's poor play last year had a lot to do with Whitehead being constantly out of position and it hurt the entire defense. Now he doesn't have to worry about Whitehead fuging up and can just focus on his own assignments. Arnold is just a Jag and was brought in to cover the TE position for a year or two for what ever mid round TE we drafted to develop. Tremble has obviously impressed everyone and seems to be way ahead of where most thought he would be at this point when he was drafted. Hell, It didn't even seem like we had a TE on the roster last year and the offense still managed to put up impressive numbers. All of the moves we've made so far make perfect sense besides our FA offensive line signings. Erving wasn't the worst thing in the world but Elflein is still a complete head scratcher.

Is there still a chance something happens and the trade doesn’t go through, or is it already a done deal? I don’t want to get hyped up only to be super disappointed.

We currently have the second most cap space available. I know we probably want to carry it over to next season but we could off a 2 year deal and front load the hell out of it so it has little effect on next years cap space.
