  1. I still don't like Brady. His playcalling is still suspect at times. We can't always depend on defenses not playing their best or without their best players. The oline is better because Paradis wasn't under center. The center calls out protections and also if he fugs up it causes a trickle down effect on the other linemen. Paradis is one of the worst centers we've had. I wanted Elfein at center before the season began.
  2. When Elfein was healthy, I wanted him to be our center. I've said all along a bad center can throw everyone on the OL off. Fix that and you can see better play along the whole line. Glad he's getting his shot. Now all that needs to happen is Christensen over Daley and we may be golden.
  3. Our sins have been cleansed
  4. Whatever your fascination is with Steve, your conclusions are just wrong. Steve was an asshole, straight up. He was a toxic person. Hell, Steve even kept bitching at Delhomme. After all the stories that came out about him when he left and others personal encounters with him and even a few that had inside knowledge, the evidence is against him. He stunted the growth of others around him. Ever wonder why we developed no other WRs during his tenure here or another QB even? He most certainly had a part in it. Cam had already been around Steve, he was the #1 pick and the franchise QB. You better believe that irked Steve as it took the spotlight off of him. If Cam didn't want to listen to Steve, he had good reason to.
  5. This is why I laugh when this board praises him so highly. I gave up on him after the 3rd time he punched a teammate.
  6. So now we're bitching about trying to win games? Good God.
  7. Which is the most asinine take there is about this move. He is better than trotting PJ Walker out there for the remainder of the year.
  8. *Bell, Chandler, and Amini enter chat*
  9. Listening to the OG and they are way more reasonable than Adam Gold. All Gold did was bitch about why the coaching staff waited so long to sign Cam this week. He's always been nit picky about the team. Well, they had the guy that broke the Twitter news that the team was meeting with Cam. Come to find out, the team talked with Cam on Tuesday and then Cam came here on a plane today. So that shot down one of the main points Gold was harping on over and over today. He also harped on this being a desperation move and a window into how much of a clown show this organization is with how they handled the QB situation. The OG stated that it's a move that needed to be made to help your football team right now and gave them credit for realizing what needed to be done. They also brought up that Darnold was not the first choice and we tried to bring in Stafford and Watson. This staff tried to bring in better options at QB. They didn't just look at Darnold and say "that's our guy" without doing anything else. Gold comes off as an arrogant, sarcastic asshole. He kept saying this is mostly good for him entertainment wise and not really sure its good for the team. He also doubts we see good Cam here. The only good thing he said was that Cam was actually really good in the first half of 2018 before he got injured. I don't know why he has his own time slot here. All he does is repeat the same shitty takes over and over throughout his show. He should be in another state up North covering someone else. The Panthers aren't even his team. He's a former Jets fan. I'm just tired of all the bitching about the past. Just be fuging happy Cam is back.
  10. I've had to turn them off multiple times because I had gotten so fed up with their sh!t takes.
  11. 99.9 on the Adam Gold show, they were just ripping this signing apart. They've done nothing but bitch the whole season.
  12. I was just thinking that Rhule has to say something to Cam and it has to be a pretty long and genuine apology.
  13. I am reserved atm, but ready to jump out of pure joy if Cam plays well these next few weeks.
  14. Im stoked! I hope he plays well. You can dog Rhule about his coaching abilities, but one thing is certain is that he at least tries to fix areas of need whether it's a failed effort or not. Unlike past coaches we've had that won't even try at all.
  15. Holy fuging poo! Please be good! Let's all redeem ourselves for past sins!!!
  16. You also can't doubt this team believes and fights for him, besides Dropsie Anderson. You just have to go back and look at all the support Darnold had after he got injured.
  17. We need to know what the status of Darnold's shoulder was before the game and what the coaches knew before the game before rushing to judgement. However, it is not looking good so far and if Rhule trotted him out there knowing he was still injured, that's a fireable offense to me. Darnold looked good the first 4 weeks and was starting to look good again in the Falcons game after having 3 not so good games. He is an average QB which is ok if you have built an oline and have a good OC that can gameplan around it. We don't have either of those. Rhule may not or should not get a chance to fix it depending on what he knew before Sunday.
  18. yes it is his fault for refusing to throw the ball downfield to wide open receivers and only looking out for his completion percentage. He wasn't the answer. Stop with this revisionist poo posting. fug Bridgewater. Darnold may be playing bad, but Teddy was one of the pussiest QBs I've seen play.
  19. Not with this line and Brady as OC. This is Bell, Chandler, and Amini line with Shula at OC all over again.
  20. I think Robby should focus more on getting separation and catching balls that hit him in the hands, but that's just me.
  21. That should be a 15 yard taunting penalty for using the slashing of throat celebration
